Noeller Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 http://www.bluebombers.com/article/bombers-announce-team-award-winners MOP -- Henoc MOC -- Henoc MOD -- Henoc MO OL -- Manuary MO ST -- Will Ford MOR -- Ian Wild
Mike Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Good for Muamba. I think he has a good shot at winning the eastern nod for MOC and MODP
Mike Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 PS .. what really blows me away is that he was the unanimous choice for all 3 awards. As for the overall winners, I'm going ... MOP Cornish MOC Cornish MODP Hughes MOL Labatte MOSTP Paredes MOR Jones DR. CFL 1
Noeller Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Posted October 30, 2013 So does Cornish get it over Frito because Frito was hurt for awhile? 'Cause, to me, the numbers RR had this year were just ridiculous, albeit interrupted for a bit. I've got no problems with Cornish winning it...that's a fair case....but man, Frito was something else this year, when he played.
Valderan_CA Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 I don't think you can not give Frito MoP this year.... his numbers were so ******** good while healthy it is insane. Noeller 1
Noeller Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Posted October 30, 2013 Yep...I agree. It's just that injury that will decide things...
JuranBoldenRules Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Labatte's the 3rd best OL on his own team this season, but that's how the CFL awards work.
Blueandgold Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 I wonder if Alex Hall would've won MODP and MOP if he were still here.
Mike Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Labatte's the 3rd best OL on his own team this season, but that's how the CFL awards work. it's a really, really weird list of nominees this year at MOL

He's next on the seniority list. Looks like the Edmonton writers just voted for the tallest and heaviest OL on the roster. If Matt O'Donnell is your top OL, your team is in a world of hurt.
Mike Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 I honestly would have gone Calgary - Jones Saskatchewan - Heenan Edmonton - no clue BC - Olafioye Winnipeg - Greaves (maybe January) Montreal - LBJ Hamilton - Wojt Toronto - Van Zeyl

But the thing is, O'Donnell probably was the best Linemen in Edmonton and their team IS in a world of hurt...
