sweep the leg Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 no way! predictions mean predicting what happens before it happens! waiting for the season to start is cheating. No kidding. We'd all be great prognosticators in we waited until the season was over.
Mike Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 Anyone feel like making some 2012 season predictions? I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on what could go down. Chaosmonkey 1

Fraser Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 if people want to revise things after the pre season that is cool but may as well toss out a prediction in the meantime.
TBURGESS Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 East: Tor, Mtl, Wpg, Ham West: BC, Cal, Skn, Edm Most Outstanding: Player: Lulay Canuck: Cornish Defense: Sherritt Special Teams: Owens Lineman: Olafioye Rookie: No Idea!

Blueandgold Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 The East honestly looks terrible to me this year. Hamilton/Winnipeg and Montreal get wins based off of the fact they play each other abunch and someone has to win those games. East Standings Toronto: 10-8 Montreal: 9-9Hamilton: 7-11 Winnipeg: 6-12West Standings BC: 13-5 Calgary: 11-7 Saskatchewan: 9-9 Edmonton: 7-11 Grey Cup Teams and Winner BC 35 Toronto 24Most Outstanding Player: Travis Lulay over Ricky RayMost Outstanding Canadian: Henoc Muamba over Andrew Haaris(homer pick) Most Outstanding Defensive Player: Adam Bighill over Henoc Muamba Most Outstanding Special Teams Player: Chad Owens over Rene Paredes Most Outstanding Rookie: Honestly no clue, all of the big contributors from the Canadian draft aren't in Camp, and picking imports is a crapshoot when we can't even see the pre season games. Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman: Jovan Olafioye over Josh Bourke
iso_55 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 I'll make my prediction after the 2nd week of pre season games before the start of the regular season.
pigseye Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Montreal 10 - 7 - 1 Toronto 10 - 8 Hamilton 9 - 9 Winnipeg 4 - 14 BC 13 - 5 Cal 11 - 7 Suks 8 - 10 Esks 3 - 15
TBURGESS Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 so who do you like in the GC, TBurg? Way too much football to be played to be talking about the GC IMHO. Some teams will play better than I expect. Some will play worse. Injuries will take their toll and not in an even way across all teams. Who knows how Montreal will react to a new HC or if AC finally shows his age. As it stands right now, not having seen any teams play this year, I'd take a wild guess at a Tor - BC Cup.
Mike Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Montreal 10 - 7 - 1 Toronto 10 - 8 Hamilton 9 - 9 Winnipeg 4 - 14 BC 13 - 5 Cal 11 - 7 Suks 8 - 10 Esks 3 - 15 I always get a kick out of predictions like this. 68-75-1 Did I miss some kind of announcement about teams having games against Arena league teams this year?
pigseye Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 It's preseason Mike.......still honing my skills......I thought it was pretty funny.

TrueBlue Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 lol I just couldn't help pointing it out when you had one tie listed. OCD much? One tie, and largely skewed margin of wins vs. losses...

17to85 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 the Braley Bowl... i'm imagining the butthurt howling already... The only fitting end to the Braley Football League season. Hey bomber fans, stop going to games maybe Braley will feel sorry and buy our team too then we can get the benefit of the supreme overlord of the league looking out for our best interests too. rebusrankin 1
