The Unknown Poster Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 O'Shea said he wanted to act quickly. I'm actually a bit surprised we havent heard anything yet. Let's assume all eyes are on the draft on monday...expect announcements Wednesday perhaps? voodoochylde 1
voodoochylde Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 @FarhanLaljiTSN: #BCLions expected to announce Mark Washington as new DC at 2pm. Also Jarious Jackson won't be the OC in BC or Wpg #CFL
Captain Blue Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Well hopefully the dominoes start falling.

Noeller Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Part of me is glad that this Stubler To Wpg stuff is true, 'cause I was a little worried about Calgary making a pitch for him. Kinda sorta...
The Unknown Poster Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 So Stubler came to Winnipeg over the weekend? And Khari was here the end of last week? So....?
Mike Posted December 12, 2013 Author Report Posted December 12, 2013 I think you might be taking "left for Winnipeg" a bit too literally. I don't think he actually means Stubler physically travelled to Winnipeg. And if he does, even then it doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Floyd Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Well, everything does seem to point towards stubler and jones as our assts... We're not really hearing rumours involving any other names - unless MB sneaks in there
NotoriousBIG Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I would be really pleased with Stubler as DC and Khari as OC. In fact, I could see KJ really shining in that role here. Stubler, however, isn't risk free. His star seems to have lost some lustre since the '07 Argos.

He might put some wrinkles on Stubler's D that the latter haven't thought before. Same goes for the ST. Blue-urns 1

And yet, lo and behold, our defense still sucked this year. I mean...he wasn't doing anything else right? He should have had plenty of time to help out Creehan. FYI I'm not comparing O'Shea to Burke...just more making fun of Burke.

Floyd Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 One guy I'm hoping to see her is McAdoo - I think he really got a lot out of TOs oline, would be awesome if we could swipe him

rebusrankin Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Lawless was touting Stubler and Marcel on his show today. Please not Marcel. Rather see Khari, Jarious Jackson or Jason Maas. Fred C Dobbs 1
Westy Sucks Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 At least Marcel has been a HC before. We need more experience on our staff. Not more rookies. We already have 3 rookies running our team in the top positions in Miller,Walters,Oshea
Mr Dee Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Lawless was touting Stubler and Marcel on his show today. Please not Marcel. Rather see Khari, Jarious Jackson or Jason Maas. If true, To Rich Stubler, welcome to the Big Blue. To Marcel Bellefeuille, …please, no. No offence, but that's just it, no offence. Oh, and Boltus, Need I say more?
rebusrankin Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 At least Marcel has been a HC before. We need more experience on our staff. Not more rookies. We already have 3 rookies running our team in the top positions in Miller,Walters,Oshea Marcel was a losing head coach and he did little with our offense this year, plus he advocated for us to bring in Boltus. The experience thing can be overrated, Jim Daley and Jeff Reinbold have experience too
The Unknown Poster Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 I wouldn't say he did nothing with out offense. He came in in a bad spot. Took a lousy offense and improved it in mid stream. Made Hall better. Made certain receivers a lot better. With a full off season and training camp, better QB and talent all around id be very interested to see what Marcel could do. Blue-urns 1
Floyd Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 I don't mind MB, our offence had some flashes and we ran outside and threw for more than 4 yds at a time... But its hard to get the boltus stink off of him
SPuDS Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 We could do alot better then Bellefeuille but we could also do alot worse then Bellefeuille.. So if its marcel and we can convince to him to give up his mancrush on Boltus.. Meh. Offense will improve but wont wow anyone..
JuranBoldenRules Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Bellefeuille's a worse OC than head coach. rebusrankin 1
17to85 Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 The problem with Bellefool is that the offense was so bad anything would be an improvement. He's average at best, at best. We can do better even if they have less experience.

I'd prefer a complete break from anything to do with last season. But we'll see.
