Atomic Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/wpg/pdf/depth/2013/Depth062837.pdf No real surprises, of course.... Sherman makes it onto the 46...
Dascow Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 That LBing corps scares me a little. More specifically, the nickel position.
Atomic Posted June 26, 2013 Author Report Posted June 26, 2013 That LBing corps scares me a little. More specifically, the nickel position. Trial by fire for sure. The funny thing is, with almost two full pre-season games under his belt at nickel, Desia Dunn has more game-time than any of our other starters thus far... hopefully that helps.
Valderan_CA Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Does this have Suber/Stewart as the strong side corner/halfback (I.E. they've swapped Jovon and Stewart - Put Suber into Hefney's old position)
M.O.A.B. Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Who will be the 4-man reserve? - Sheman, for ST purposes or Kowalczuk for added protection to Buck ? - Markett, which is the norm (backup DB) or McGee (backup Nickel), in case Dunn stunk - Anderson (or Matthews if he's a no go) - Douglas

Hef played weak-side (boundary) halfback, Jovon is the boundary corner.
Captain Blue Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 I really thought McGee would start at nickel.
Fraser Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 I imagine the DI's are Markett, Harris and Ford. I thought woodson would be ahead of volny from what I saw in the paper though.
kelownabomberfan Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 That LBing corps scares me a little. More specifically, the nickel position. yeah. Having Kyries Hebert as your SAM would scare me too.
TrueBlue Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 I imagine the DI's are Markett, Harris and Ford. I thought woodson would be ahead of volny from what I saw in the paper though. Ford and Markett for sure. Maybe McGee?
17to85 Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 so Matthews is definitely playing? I think it's still up in the air but upgraded from questionable to probably.
NotoriousBIG Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 I think we have a chance in this game, due to homefield and too many ? in MTL. Might be one of our 4 wins for the year!
Fraser Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Ford and Markett for sure. Maybe McGee? With all the Rotating they do I'm almost positive Harris will be on the Roster.
Atomic Posted June 26, 2013 Author Report Posted June 26, 2013 I'm guessing the 4-man is Douglas, Kowalczuk, Anderson/Matthews, and Markett. McGee can play multiple spots, will likely be more valuable than Markett as the DI.

Armchair GM Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Burke likes his DB's, and frankly they'd likely be better ST guys than the linemen. You don't need 7 OL's dressing... My best guess for the 4-man is Douglas, Kowalczuk, Sherman, and either Matthews or Woodson, if Matthews doesn't suit up. Although that's a lot of NI's on the 4-man... maybe Anderson goes on if Matthews goes.
IC Khari Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 I like our chances tonight being the first game, the new digs/big crowd, and the surprise element of not seeing each other yet etc. Having Matthews play should help ...

Atomic Posted June 26, 2013 Author Report Posted June 26, 2013 Matthews is still questionable for the game, I think.

Chaosmonkey Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 oh man did they change the game to tonight? Crap! might have quite a few people not in their seats by kickoff then. holoman 1
holoman Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 might have quite a few people not in their seats by kickoff then. stupid traffic
Raydawg Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 they said if the game was today Matthews wouldn't play. its all about pain management right now... It would be foolish to play him game one if he is gonna have to deal with a sore ankle all year...
Jimmy Pop Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Sit Matthews. No need to risk further injury in Week 1.
