Jacquie Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Bagg is a Band-Aid and Getzlaf is pushing 30. They have McHenery, Etienne, Sisco, Thompson, Hargreaves and Anthony. Not really an impressive group of receivers. I just wouldn't be surprised if Sask at least puts an offer on the table and maybe makes the Bombers pay a little more. Hargreaves is set to be a free agent tomorrow. I doubt they will be re-signing him.
Guest Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Here is CFL.ca's take on the top 20 free agents: http://cfl.ca/article/cflcas-top-20-free-agents-of-2014 20. Chris Milo ... 3. Keron Williams 2. Shea Emry 1. Nick Moore How are Nick Moore, Keron Williams 1 and 3 ? Actually I'm a bit shocked that Simpson and Ford are both in the top 20 as well.
blueandgoldguy Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Stegall and Simon won their Most Oustanding Players awards when they were 31 or 32. did you just compare Getzlaf to two of the best receivers to ever play in the league? Nope. Just making the point that players can still be at their best in their 30s. There are plenty of good receivers who can dominate in their 30s. Those two just came to mind first. It's funny that Noeller likes all your posts. Guess you two are BFFs.

Now being a NI yes Getzlaf is quite likely to play well into his 30s, but if you expect him to maintain a high level the whole way....

Getzlaf just came off a 1000 yard season... what is so hard to comprehend. Funny, how no one mentions that Watson is 'pushing 30'... You've been in a mood ever since the whole Burris thing came up - relax, breathe... he's not coming here.
