Zontar Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 Diedrick for a pick (not specified). Interesting only in that isnt this the kind of deal that could have been done in offseason ? HAM gets some more CDN depth, experience for probably a year at least.
Atomic Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 TSN says 2014 4th round pick. http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=426730 Surprised they would let Stephenson go for nothing and then make a trade for Diedrick. I'm guessing they overestimated John Delahunt's abilities and then realized they needed a little more experience there.

In DD they get depth, experience and a passport and someone who can play STs too. Delahunt was faster, more athletic and presents a much bigger target that Stephenson for Burris. I dont think Austin thought twice about it.
Floyd Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 Not sure Diedrick is an upgrade over Stephenson though...

Zontar Posted July 1, 2013 Author Report Posted July 1, 2013 And which of those things did Stephenson not offer...? Its not about what is just offered . Its about what's offered that is better.
Jacquie Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Was Diedrick's court case ever decided or is it still going through the courts?
