Jacquie Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Other than Farhan Lalji's tweet, is there any other evidence that KG is "disgruntled"? I believe it was reported that Desjardin said he had spoken to Glenn and Glenn was unhappy.
Floyd Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Glenn would be a sweet deal for whoever gets him - Ottawa has already paid his bonus... Too bad we traded our 2nd rounder, I'm sure BC or Montreal will end up offering them the 12th or 13th picks... Can't even think what we have for trade bait
blitzmore Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Not so sure I would even want Glenn. Don't forget he played in Calgary on a very good team, with a very good running back to take the pressure off. He also had the best offensive coordinator! The only thing he might bring here is the quick release if our O line does not improve enough! The thing I'll never forget about Glenn is his ability to throw a pick at the absolute worst time, over and over again!
road griller Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Keep Mr. November away from the 'Peg. Seen that movie too many times.

The thing I'll never forget about Glenn is his ability to throw a pick at the absolute worst time, over and over again! That certainly was a big fault of his early in his career. However, he has improved greatly in that area over the past few years. He is not the same QB we let go of in 2009. Not saying he is the answer either, but I would gladly welcome him back. Shanks 1
Doublezero Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn back in Calgary. Would we then want Tate?
voodoochylde Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn back in Calgary. Would we then want Tate? Had that thought myself .. Calgary has the 23, 24 and 25 picks in this draft .. would Calgary take a 3rd round pick for Glenn though or would Calgary have to give up the 16th pick?
Bomber_fanaddict Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 I'd trade our first round pick for Glenn if they threw in Keith Shologan lol
Brandon Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Glenn as a backup would be awesome, how many teams have a November grey cup winning qb?
M.O.A.B. Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Burris is one the most durable QB in the CFL, I understand Glenn's side since he's contract is rumored to be has incentives depending on the he started/played. I can see him coming here as #2 since, he has a good chance on starting if Willy encounters some bumps. That said, if I'm KW, I wouldnt give up the #2 overall. I'll send him the rights to either Mulumba or Bilukidi though.
17to85 Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 I'd take Glenn, but only for a very big discount price in trade. Don't give up anything big to Ottawa. After their bitching about who was available from the Bombers and then thinking Glenn can become something good for them I just want to see them sitting on this self created problem. Shanks 1
Jpan85 Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 I would highly doubt that Ottawa will get any firm offers. The GMs did not like that draft was so favourable for Ottawa, they have a chance to stick it back to them now. Fully expect them to take advantage of this. Shanks 1
Mr Dee Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Other than Farhan Lalji's tweet, is there any other evidence that KG is "disgruntled"? I have a gruntled account - and am linked to gruntled athletes. Kevin's diss-gruntled. One angry REDBRO
Noeller Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Kevin Glenn is almost never happy. To say that he's disgruntled is like saying there's a good chance the sun will come up today. He's a lot like Jovon in that regard...just a constant chip on the shoulder about something or other.

robynjt Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn back in Calgary.
Brandon Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn back in Calgary. And Tate then traded to the Peg !
Noeller Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Kevin Glenn @qterback5 1m I hear you I'm trying to get traded they said it will be either Winn Sask or BC they won't trade me to east I heard bell going to cal
sweep the leg Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Glenn's going nuclear on twitter right now. It's awesome...
Mr. Perfect Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Kevin Glenn @qterback5 1m I hear you I'm trying to get traded they said it will be either Winn Sask or BC they won't trade me to east I heard bell going to cal I'd love it if we traded for him then flipped him over to Montreal to extend another middle finger to Desjardins. johnzo, Mr Dee and Blue-urns 3
Tracker Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Other than Farhan Lalji's tweet, is there any other evidence that KG is "disgruntled"? The resentment on Glenn's part as reported would seem to be accurate. This would be a very good argument against bring Glenn back to the 'Peg- it sure seems like Willy was promised the starting job and parachuting Glenn in here would mean that Willy would be "disgruntled" And I used to think that "disgruntled" was a term used to describe a retired pig.
Guest Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Why the hate for Desjardins? All the guy did was overpay for Burris. This is exactly why I don't hate Dejardins, although I do find it hilarious that he didn't seem to learn from his Hamilton experience. And to think there were rumblings that the Hamilton fiasco occurred due to the higher ups meddling and not the fault of Mr. Dejardins.

For Marsh ?
Armchair GM Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 For Marsh ? Is there something about Tanner Marsh's QB play we should be excited about? All I saw was Goltz 2.0.
