In layman's terms, this is the new Bomber jersey ...

colin pls stahp.

If this what a typical Bomber fan looks like, I now see why Reebok needs to make bigger jerseys.

Bombers should just go with the Royal Blues as the Home Jersey, White's as the away and Navy Blue's as the retro/3rd jersey.

Yes. I asked my GF and she has no idea either.

It's not that weird a question.

Try looking up the difference on the 'net, you'll see many interpretations, some of which are very close to each other.

Add in the fact, as a poster pointed out, that fabric denseness and makeup may have the colours trend towards each other.

One man's Royal may end up looking like another man's Navy…to an extent.

Navy blue is much darker. Powder blue is a lighter & brighter blue. There are all kinds of pics of the Blue Bombers wearing those colours in the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Okay so Navy is darker and Royal is lighter, right?

Sigh, gbill2004.... Here's Dieter Brock from the 1970's wearing Royal Blue jersey. Also our third jerseys are Royal Blue.

Why the sigh? Google Royal blue and Navy blue and the exact same colors come up.

Dark blue and light blue I can understand.

Sigh because I don't understand how you don't get this: How can you not see the difference?

Here's the 2013 Royal Blue alternate jerseys:BTfll80CIAAunoM.jpg

I SEE the difference. That's not the issue. I just didn't know what each was called; navy vs royal.
