Adrenaline_x Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Don't want the controversy here And if Willy stinks it up and goes 0-6 you don't think there still will be controversy? I'd rather our insurance be a proven CFL vet which worked wonders with Calgary the last two seasons. Agreed. There is no controversy if willy/hall/ bb play better then kg. if kg play betternthen the rest, the others have to work hard to unseat him before kg retires. Pretty much win win.
gbill2004 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 @PentonKirk: RT @jamienye: Marcel Desjardins says BC and WPG are most interested in Kevin Glenn. SSK isn't. Need a no doubt starter in return.
Noeller Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I like Kevin Glenn, but to give up anything of value is asinine...
Captain Blue Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 A "no doubt starter" for Glenn? Screw that. Man I am going to be ticked if we pay that.
Samcanadian Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 The longer we wait the better it'll be for us. The bargaining chip Ottawa had is gone now that Glenn has stated he's unhappy, and like someone else mentioned before me...the Redblacks are NOT in a position of bargaining power here. All that being said, I think Glenn is the perfect guy to back up Willy and at least give us a chance to win if Willy A. Sucks or B. Goes down. Logan007 1
JuranBoldenRules Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 A "no doubt starter" for Glenn? Screw that. Man I am going to be ticked if we pay that. No doubt starter for Ottawa....so Aaron Kelly works? Brandon 1
iso_55 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 That is unbelievable. He deserves a lot more than that base salary wise. I guess he got a few bonuses for winning so many games the past 2 seasons in Calgary.
M.O.A.B. Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Suber for Glenn - straight up. I think that will do it.
Blueandgold Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Suber for Glenn - straight up. I think that will do it. I wouldn't give up Suber. I honestly wouldn't give up anything more than a Cauchy Muamba, Desia Dunn or an Aaron Kelly. SPuDS 1

kelownabomberfan Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Hall Yes I agree to this, if the first name is "Cam".
iso_55 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I wouldn't give up Hall. Muamba, sure. He'll never be a full time starter. A depth player & that's about it so he's expendable. But Desjardins would never take him unless he was wanting to make a play for Henoc if he ever got cut.

iso_55 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Brohm & Hall would fight it out at training camp.
Atomic Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Most teams carry 4 or 5 QBs through the season. No reason Hall and Brohm couldn't both stick around if we got Glenn.

You were talking about Cauchy and B. Henoc doesn't play for us anymore.
Jacquie Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I really hope Cauchy has a great season for us this year just to see you guys backtrack on all the comments you've made about him. Noeller 1
iso_55 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I really hope Cauchy has a great season for us this year just to see you guys backtrack on all the comments you've made about him. You mean like Etienne?
Brandon Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I really hope Cauchy has a great season for us this year just to see you guys backtrack on all the comments you've made about him. No one is doubting his "potential" or his athletic ability.... how can we backtrack when he performed very poorly for us. It's a fact and really he had no excuses for his mistakes. With guys like Hall or Goltz we can at least blame the o-line or the plays being called. Don't forget Cauchy was also being critiqued while in BC for similar reasons.
Noeller Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I really hope Cauchy has a great season for us this year just to see you guys backtrack on all the comments you've made about him. I also would like to see this...but not as much as I'd like people to understand that it's Co-She, and not Couch-y...
Fatty Liver Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Two things are indisputable. 1. Henoc is never coming back. 2. Cauchy is never going to be a good player. iso_55 1
