Captain Blue Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Saskatchewan looks pretty solid right now.
iso_55 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Glad Rod Black isn't doing this game. He'd be slobbering all about Taj Smith in coconut oil.
Jacquie Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 pfft he rubbed shoulders with him slightly as he went for the ball. Which is still contact before the ball got there. The explanation they just gave made it pretty clear it was a good call.
iso_55 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 What a bad game. Toronto looks like garbage, Offense can't move the ball & defense can't stop the Rider offense.
iso_55 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I wonder if that is the same foot he injured in 2011. Durant doesn't look happy. Probably a sprain.
17to85 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 TV is out of order at work here (Boourns) so going by the comments here I can only assume that the new secondary for the argos still has plenty of holes in it eh.
M.O.A.B. Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Inman and Durie injured in last quarter, lets hope they not flying to Winnipeg next week
pigseye Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Good to see the chumps get their lunch handed to them at home.

iso_55 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Only 18,000 at the game. That is embarassing.
Floyd Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Maybe letting TOs entire defence except for.. McCune?... walk, wasn't the best idea Right now SK and Calgary are the teams to beat.
17to85 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I'd hold off on putting Calgary in that group just yet. Yeah they were damned good in week 1 but week 2, and specifically the 2nd half against the riders were as bad as anything in the CFL this year.
SPuDS Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 sask looked gooooood... collaros looked solid.. if i was to make a play for anyones back up, that might be my gamble.. sure garbage mins but nice passes, excellent evading the rush and thst side step on whoever it was before his TD was pretty sick.. sask oline looked best in league tonight to me anyway
Zontar Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Cue SSK hype/praise machine turned to "11". Quite possibly all year long. Its not going be pretty. It's not going to be fun. Atomic 1

Dascow Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 the hype for the riders is always turned up to 11, this might actually cause the end of the universe as we know it. We can send the universe back into it's natural state if we beat them on Labour Day though...
Mike Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Saskatchewan looks good. Sheets is an absolute force out there right now. I'm not expecting them to maintain this level of domination but they look like a real well oiled machine right now.
Valderan_CA Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Their Oline looks like it is in midseason form with respect to their run-blocking... some of their run schemes were pretty sick
johnzo Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Getting George Cortez was a great move. The guy has had awesome offences wherever he's coached. Their Oline looks like it is in midseason form with respect to their run-blocking... some of their run schemes were pretty sick Yeah, that Scott McHenry block on the end-around, where he was just hanging around waiting for the play to develop and then he totally springs the runner .... that was something I'd never seen before.

Yeah, that Scott McHenry block on the end-around, where he was just hanging around waiting for the play to develop and then he totally springs the runner .... that was something I'd never seen before. I really liked the play where they had their fullback (McHenry?) line up on the left side of the formation. That caused the end on that side of the formation to widen, expecting that the full back was going to try and pinch him in for an outside run. On snap the Fullback ran to the right side to stop the pursuit from the end (not that it mattered since the play came so smoothly that end had no chance to catching Sheets) while the Left Tackle and Left Guard opened a hole between each other - Big hole due to the widened position taken by the end. We might be talking about the same play actually. There was also a really nice play where their Left Tackle/Guard both came off the line almost horizontally and opened a huge hole between the Center and Left Guard for Sheets
TrueBlue Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Inman and Durie injured in last quarter, lets hope they not flying to Winnipeg next week Durie certainly looked pretty woozy after getting his jaw rocked like that.
Valderan_CA Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Durie certainly looked pretty woozy after getting his jaw rocked like that. Inman took some pretty huge hits from Brackenridge too... the hit where he just kind of crumbled after catching and taking the hit looked pretty bad
