TrueBlue Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 I'd be curious to know now that Matthews is out for Friday if it has been the same lingering injury since the start of the season. Perhaps it's hindered his ability so far.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 It CAN be Watson, if we don;t over use him and he breaks again. jinx!!!
Mike Posted July 18, 2013 Report Posted July 18, 2013 You might even call him a 'turnover machine' based on those numbers. I don't fault Buck for every one of those INT's over that span of time, but then there are some really really bad ones in there, too. You'd think the label would fit, but Tim Burke would never dare.
Blueandgold Posted July 18, 2013 Report Posted July 18, 2013 It's not a comparison. Buck sucks. He has for a long time. Denmark failed to beat coverage in the span of one game. Buck has been unimpressive since the 2011 Banjo Bowl. Denmark has been pretty ineffective since 2011 himself. I don't know why we're all beating around the bush here, Denmark AND Buck are both struggling players and they should BOTH be sitting on the bench at this point in time.
James Posted July 18, 2013 Report Posted July 18, 2013 Im not sure how anyone could defend Buck after last game. If he's that bad again we should all protest outside the bomber stadium!
Atomic Posted October 14, 2013 Author Report Posted October 14, 2013 Interesting, not much love for Denmark and looks like he's going to finish as our most productive receiver. Figures!
AKAChip Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 He's also been the only one to stay healthy. He's ended up with a decent season considering the circumstances but there were many times early on where he absolutely deserved to be benched. Atomic 1
DR. CFL Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Garth Buchko and Joe Mack tied for leading receivers $$$$$$$$$$$
Blueandgold Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Interesting, not much love for Denmark and looks like he's going to finish as our most productive receiver. Figures! Well, at the time Denmark was playing god awful and deserved all the criticism he got. But, he turned it around and is playing fantastic right now. I was one of the people calling him to be benched so I won't hesitate to eat my words on that one

I was one of the people calling him to be benched so I won't hesitate to eat my words on that one or much more likely the guy wasn't being used correctly... they did move him to WR early in the year right? Despite him having a lot of success at slotback when he first broke into the league. Believe he's at slot again now.
TrueBlue Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 I think Denmark is seizing an opportunity right now, knowing that he's as expendable as any import receiver on our roster right now. He's playing hard and showing the reasons why he needs to be here next season.
The Unknown Poster Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Speaking of receivers, Mike Sims-Walker starts for Kelly this week.

He's playing hard and showing the reasons why he needs to be here next season. Whatever he started out doing wrong at the start of the year he must have figured out... It seems like Denmark has been playing better since we tossed Crowton and moved over to Bellefeuille's schemes, I wonder if that was part of it.
Mr Dee Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Speaking of receivers, Mike Sims-Walker starts for Kelly this week. I'm going to give him the benefit of a doubt on his practice habits, and trust he'll be going full speed from now on.
Jpan85 Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Amazingly enough Denmark could go over 1000 yards this year with 80-90 yard games down the stretch.
