Atomic Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I suppose Tim Horton's had to name a stadium or arena eventually.
Mike Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Roll Up The Rim To Wynne. iso_55, bigblue85, Chaosmonkey and 2 others 5
Fraser Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I don't get Tim Hortons. I don't really care for the coffee and I really don't care for what they try to pass off as food but it's lined up all the time.
bigblue85 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Makes sense, iirc the first Tim's was in Hamilton.
Atomic Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 I don't get Tim Hortons. I don't really care for the coffee and I really don't care for what they try to pass off as food but it's lined up all the time. I only get it during Roll up the Rim. Otherwise it's 7-11 all the way... they've actually got pretty good coffee believe it or not.
Fraser Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 i wouldn't be surprised if 7-11 wasn't bad coffee. I actually like MdDonalds coffee and will drink the grand and toy brand coffee we make at work before Tim hortons.
johnzo Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Cool. Definitely a sportier name than "(Bank) Field" or "(Insurance Company) Field" or "(Telecom) Field."
Bomber_fanaddict Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Roll Up The Rim To Wynne. I like the other one on Twitter........"Coffee Grounds" lol

kelownabomberfan Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Tim Hortons is basically THE case study for effective marketing. As long as you ignore their US experience.

McDonalds coffee is wicked good... just don't try their latte/cappuccino, literally undrinkable
Adrenaline_x Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 This stadium looks low end.. Like On par with Ivor Wynne no?
Fraser Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 McDonalds coffee is wicked good... just don't try their latte/cappuccino, literally undrinkable yeah they talked me into an Americano once "its comparable to a black cofee" was total swill.
Mark H. Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 i wouldn't be surprised if 7-11 wasn't bad coffee. I actually like MdDonalds coffee and will drink the grand and toy brand coffee we make at work before Tim hortons. Yep, with one of their apple pies, works every time.

I don't really care for the coffee and I really don't care for what they try to pass off as food but it's lined up all the time. C'mon it's Timmm's, Timmy's, Tim's.... It's like Canadians are having online sex with that company. No way I ever call a company by a cute first name... Screw that. I don't go for coffee at Timmms. I go for coffee at Tim Horton's. Sounds so g...g...g.. odd.
Zontar Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Country Style and 7-11 is just as good. What drives me mad about Hortons is their drive-thrus, esp. at busy intersections - flypaper for lazy, stupid, selfish drivers.
17to85 Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 What drives me mad about Hortons is their drive-thrus, esp. at busy intersections - flypaper for lazy, stupid, selfish drivers. you have no idea the anger that builds up in me when there are morons blocking a road just to go through the Tim Hortons drive through.... the parking lot is bloody empty! Stop blocking the road and walk your fat ass into the store to get your damned coffee rather than making traffic even worse!
iso_55 Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Ever been to the Tim Horton's in Midnapore, 17?? That is exactly what happens. Busy shopping centre.... People turning left. Just a mess.
17to85 Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 No I don't go by there much, The two I'm specifically thinking of are on 130th in the SE, but they've changed that so it doesn't block traffic as much and there was one on mcleod just north of the 39th street train station that was always ******** with people blocking mcleod.
bluto Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Makes sense, iirc the first Tim's was in Hamilton. one of only 3 things i like about that town.
Mark H. Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 one of only 3 things i like about that town. Wots duh second and turd?
iso_55 Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Wots duh second and turd? 2. Road in. 3. Road out.
bluto Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 one of only 3 things i like about that town. Wots duh second and turd? one was the final game of the 87 Canada Cup (i was there). the other is a secret
basslicker Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Bad coffee and an even worse name for a pro football field. Sounds more like a kid's day camp.
