Guest Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Don't like the logo above the name plate either (even on my current jersey) .. looks like a cheap after thought. Better than where the Riders decided to put theirs.
iso_55 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 So, I have a 70's Dieter Brock jersey. Is the third jersey too close a representation to the 70's to buy the new third one? The 70's jersey looks a lot better than the current ones the team wears now IMO. What do you guys think?
johnzo Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 iso, I'm in the same boat, I've got a handsome #97 Brown 70s throwback that looks great and starts conversations on the streets here in Seattle ... and 200 bones is a lot of money to spend on yet another sports jersey ... but I was a HUGE fan of every one of the players in the photo that WBB Fan Girl linked to so I'm definitely tempted to spend the money on a #35 Jones or a #63 Walby. Like a lot of posters here, I think both the 70s and 80s throwbacks look way better than the current jersey. That royal blue looks so sharp and distinctive; the navy blue is boring and generic.
iso_55 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 I want to have a #2 Clements jersey so I may buy one.
johnzo Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 You ought to just be able to trade your 70s Brock in to get an 80s Clements. Noeller 1

iso_55 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Johnzo, why would I want to trade it? That's not an option for me.
iso_55 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Johnzo, why would I want to trade it? I won't do that.
BlueBall Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 The fact that BlueBall (and others) will pay whatever for the jersey is probably why they're priced where they are. I think it's branding driving the price there, moreso than material & labor cost. Livin' the high life, that's how I roll.
