Ackroyd also missing was disappointing seems like their is no animosity on his part. Carvey would of been nice to see too

Aykroyd said no... Apparently in poor health. Carvey has been on all season so I think he willingly stepped back a bit for this.

Absolutely loved Garrett Morris introducing the painfully ironic Belushi video.... For all the old timers out there, they can't say they weren't recognized. Basically every one of Lorne's eras was represented.... And even a bit of the awful Doumanian era.

I'm a particularly big fan of the 2010-ish era that had Forte, Sudekis, Hader, Samberg, Armisen, Moinehan, Kenan and Wiig... With Meyers and Mulaney writing...I'll go to bat for that as one of the best ever, if not THE best ever... And was glad to see a lot of them get work in last night.

Okay maybe I can accept that reason for him not getting something similar to what Gilda had, at the end we see her picture held by Laraine and Jane.....I was always sorry that she never held on long enough to host while Mike Myers was in the cast, they could have recreated that ad they did together as a commercial parody (it was nice to see Linda Richman again, I didn't think he would do that again unless Paul Baldwin suddenly made a "miraculous recovery" from all those ailments he had been suffering from

and it kind of makes me sad that it's painfully clear that older cast members aren't getting any younger (same goes for Musical guests, Paul Simon didn't sound quite right, and yeah that song is kind of wrecking McCartney's voice, kind of makes me glad I got to see him in person before his voice started to gradually get worse)

McCartney is one of these artists who really should retire as he can't sing anymore. The man is a billionaire. He doesn't need the money so he dosn't have to perform. Yet he still does. He'll probably keel over dead one day onstage. His warbling voice is horrible to listen to.

That's a very conffusing article. Is it or is it not a spinoff? People won't watch because it's a police family in Boston. They'll watch because it's Danny Reagan. The most interesting character on Blue Bloods was always Jamie. It would have been nice to give him a series to watch his career development. He'still many years away from being Commissioner of the NYPD but heading in that direction.

When the announcement came down two years ago that Blue Bloods was ending despite winning Friday nights for 14 years & still going strong, I checked out of the series. I haven't watched since Season 13 & may never watch the final season 14a & b.

well the article calls it a "universe expansion" it doesn't really make sense to me either unless it's in the same vein as the D!ck Wolf Universe

Other articles are a lot clearer than that. Apaprently, Danny leaves New York to work for the Boston PD. he takes on a female partner whose family comes from a long line of cops similar to his family. I guess that means Baez is out of the picture as his wife.

*spits out drink* NASHVILLE?! I wonder if a country singer will star in it (hell I wonder if the backstory for the fire chief will be that she/he is a former superstar it's a unique premise between Bobby's tragic backstory and Owen losing his entire unit to 9/11, you know it's a shame that Connie Briton bailed on 911 prime early otherwise Ryan Murphy would have had the chance to do the funniest thing ever)

more on the 911 front (but it sounds more like it will be on Doctor Odyssey)

holy crap Ghosts got a 2 SEASON renewal (the show is that good the ghosts are still fun to watch I'm glad Jay finally got to see them this season albeit temporarily) and it's nice to know that Hollywood Squares got renewed despite not having the oompf that the Whoopi/Bergeron era had (yes I'm aware the majority of you grew up with Paul Lynde)

hmmm beginning of the end? I want them to go back to picking random people to being the Bachelor instead of the rejects from a previous season, that's how is was until Jason Mesnick's season (and I only watched that season because I thought it was a cool idea to have a single parent be the main person for once)

Recently watched Monsters on Netflix again about  the Menendez murders obviously completely told from Eric and Lyles perspective then watched the actual documentary and pretty obvious they made up the sexual molestation stuff. Weird guys. But you know, that milli vanilli song, girl I’m gonna miss you ,was and still is a good song.

Have you seen the Milli Vanilli documentary that came out a year or so ago? Worth a watch. Made me look at those guys in a whole new light.

I kinda felt bad watching it. I feel they would have been forgiven and with the popularity of “Monsters” prob would have revived their career lip syncing or not.

well they gotta make room for the Wahlberg centered Blue Bloods offshoot

Dylan McDermott's character Remi Scott is probably one of the most least likeable lead characters on police procedurals today. Add to that the constantly changing cast on both FI: Most Wanted & FBI: International & it's no surprise the 2 shows were cancelled. I hate Fire Country, I don't know why, really. I watched a few episodes & just tuned out so I don't get why it may get a spinoff.

Back to the two FBI's. I'm surprised they didn't renew FBI: International. But once again, the way they explained the disappearance of the Fly Team's former boss Scott Forrester played by Luke Kleintank was so bogus. Hiding out with his double agent mother in Russia & throwing away not only his career with the FBI but also spend the rest of his life in an American prison as a traitor, if arrested. I mean, truly a **** explanation.

Could be but actors come & go like crazy on all of D i c k Wolf's tv series. It does affect ratings especially when lead actors constantly leave.

The sad thing about all these actors who quit hit shows is their egos always get the better of them. How many of them actually get a job in another TV series? Most just fade into obscurity.
