I'm glad Madam Secretary has been renewed as Elizabeth McCord is now running for President which should inject some intruiging plot lines into the series. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I'd expect she'll win the Presidency & the series will go out with her taking The Oath Of Office.

The writers of that series, simply sit around the table, drink beer,  and watch Trump.   Quite a lot of this past season's episodes write themselves....

Next season it's going to be all about winning the Democratic Presidential Nomination as she resigned as Secretary Of State. So, she won't be battling world hunger & climate change as  she did in the past. I'm hoping a little less preachy & a lot more political intrigue.

The Orville is terrible.  Hope the Fraser revival happens. That show was hilarious.

Wonder if Lauren Cohen ends up back on The Walking Dead.

sometimes I wonder if leaving one show for another show only for that show to be cancelled is even worth it?

so it looks like Family Guy is pulling a Nedna and letting the fans decide what happens next, except this time the fans get to decide who will be the next mayor of Quahog

FOX released their 19-20 schedule and wait, they're going to treat the Masked Singer the same way NBC treats the voice aren't they?

so, no surprise, Sesame Street WILL be doing a 50th anniversary special (which is fine with me since they didn't do one for their 40th or 45th anniversary) no airdate yet but look at the cast list, we'll be seeing muppets we haven't seen in several dogs ages (kermit included)

Sorry to see MS reduced to just 10 episodes. How many series have strong women leads running for President? Some fans on socialmedia have commented that they are happy to see the show go because it became too partisan after the election of Trump as President. While I agree that it became much to preachy & self righteous, I still enjoyed watching it Sunday nights. However, it definitely became anti Trump administration. I will miss Madam Secretary.

so I guess it's safe to say that Big Bang had a more satisfying ending than Game of Thrones did

Spoiler

You can't deny that the end of the young sheldon episode that followed was tear inducing, oh and btw they actually show Howard and Bernadette's kids, I didn't expect that, or that lovely acceptance speech. I knew that the final scene was going to be them eating take out food (because it didn't really look like Chinese food this time)

I listened to the Jim Henson biography. It was really good talking about the origins of the Muppets, including Sesame Street. It was interesting that Jim turned the ownership over to Children's Television Workshop to preserve the educational quality of the show.

It's available at the library, including in audiobook. The first half is great but it becomes long by the end.

Speaking of Biography...it's back on A&E or did it never go away?
