iHeart Posted October 14, 2020 Report Posted October 14, 2020 (edited) you know I have said before that any series that didn't have a decent or good ending should have a revival (thank god Glee had a happy ending) https://tvline.com/2020/10/14/dexter-revival-showtime-season-9-michael-c-hall/ and Last Man Standing will end for good next season https://tvline.com/2020/10/14/last-man-standing-cancelled-final-season-9-tim-allen/ and Reba's going to return to tv https://tvline.com/2020/10/14/reba-mcentire-fried-green-tomatoes-series-nbc/ and that wonderful time of the year....where I wish I didn't have Cable Edited October 14, 2020 by iHeart
Brandon Posted October 14, 2020 Report Posted October 14, 2020 My wife watches Hallmark movies and literally they are all interchangeable with the exact same beautiful white female lead with perfect hair who lives in a massive house that's immaculately decorated and clean all while being a single mother. She meets a guy who is clean shaven also in perfect shape with a male model face who is sweet and who she never appreciates until 10 minutes left at the end of the movie when she realizes that true happiness is being who she is and with that guy who loves her for who she is. She will then either decline taking that corporate job in the big city and/or dump her current boyfriend who doesn't truly love her and either way end up with the male model and everyone is happy. It appears that they use different actors but I can never tell them apart they all look the same. I think I've seen her watch at least 20 movies from hallmark with that exact same plot. rebusrankin, iHeart, FrostyWinnipeg and 2 others 2 3

They were filming one on Saturday at the Hydro building. (I'm guessing it was, I don't have the production schedule anymore but the size of the crew was consistent with a movie.)
iHeart Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 hmm I would have thought they would have done something similar for what they did for their 25th Anniversary https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/pbs-masterpiece-50th-anniversary-lmartin-freeman-kristin-scott-thomas-1234805374/
iHeart Posted October 16, 2020 Report Posted October 16, 2020 This isn't exactly what I hoped to hear, I mean if Roseanne undid Dan's death why couldn't they do this https://tvline.com/2020/10/16/dexter-revival-lumberjack-ending-deb-dead/

iHeart Posted October 21, 2020 Report Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) well they got the original voice actors involved (but Yakko might not sound right due to age and surgery) but the original creators and writers aren't (except for Spielberg) Edited October 21, 2020 by iHeart JCon 1
