iHeart Posted May 13, 2021 Report Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) So I guess it's safe to say that today is supposed to be avalanche day for the tv industry (renewals/cancellations/pickups)....or not it could be tomorrow considering that there will be upfronts from NBC TWO.MORE.WEEKS! the article is making it sound like that it's going to be a actual episode rather than what we saw with the Fresh Prince Reunion https://tvline.com/2021/05/13/friends-reunion-premiere-date-video-hbo-max/ for god sakes please let American Idol DIE! https://tvline.com/2021/05/13/american-idol-renewed-season-20-abc/ Why wouldn't they just expand to a third hours instead? I mean what are they going to put on the network on a saturday? https://tvline.com/2021/05/13/the-cw-adds-saturday-night-programming-fall-2021/ https://tvline.com/2021/05/13/big-brother-season-23-premiere-date-cbs/ Edited May 14, 2021 by iHeart
iHeart Posted May 14, 2021 Report Posted May 14, 2021 (edited) eh it had a good run, Anthony Anderson still has To Tell the Truth. I wouldn't be surprised if The Goldbergs end as well because well it's been on long enough too, I will definitely watch the Season premiere when they mourn Pops https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/blackish-ending-final-season-8-abc/ https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/call-your-mother-cancelled-abc-season-2-kyra-sedgwick/ here's how things will look for NBC in the fall (What the hell is AGT: Extreme) This is Us's final season will run un-interrupted but it's not coming til midseason same goes for the next season of Young Rock and Kenan https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/nbc-fall-lineup-2021-law-and-order-thursday-this-is-us-final-season/ https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/law-and-order-organized-crime-renewed-season-2-nbc/ well the voice is now going to go to the one cycle a year route now (But then again there's going to be like two olympics going on within months of each other so I don't blame NBC for the chaotic schedule) https://deadline.com/2021/05/the-voice-will-move-to-one-cycle-a-year-nbc-1234756425/ ABC has renewed multiple shows, I will wait until TVline posts the article explaining everything because deadline only does one at a time for some reason and there it is https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/abc-renewed-drama-series-2021-list-the-rookie/ https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/the-wonder-years-reboot-abc-series-order-queens-maggie-abbott-elementary/ The mother character was very annoying good riddence https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/american-housewife-cancelled-abc-season-6-katy-mixon/ oh well I guess Katey Segal will be spending more time with the Conners depending on whether her character accepts Dan's proposal in the finale (yeah the title of the finale teases two proposals) For Life is going to be shopped, maybe they should move Mixed-ish to Freeform https://tvline.com/2021/05/14/abc-cancelled-shows-2021-list-mixedish-rebel/ Edited May 14, 2021 by iHeart
SpeedFlex27 Posted May 14, 2021 Report Posted May 14, 2021 (edited) Blue Bloods wraps up Season 11 with a two hour epsisode tonight. Hopefully, they can come back with a 22 episode season next year. It was hard following BB this year as they spread a 16 episode season starting in November instead of September. to May There were gaps between episodes throughout the season. Edited May 14, 2021 by SpeedFlex27
iHeart Posted May 14, 2021 Report Posted May 14, 2021 well I wouldn't be shocked if along the way they announce that the upcoming season will be it's last because it's been on for how long? since 2010?

I still have in my head they were renewed for S12 two years ago.

This coming weekend, I might have to do some binge-ing.... I thought it was really bad. The plot ( even for the mighty ducks ) is super unrealistic. Bombay owns a rink, but won't rent it out for hockey? You would rather have your most profitable avenue of revenue halted than kids play hockey. Ohhhkay It's definitely a kids show. A show like Ted lasso does a better job of making it for both kids and adults

Yes, back for Season 12. Blue Bloods numbers are down from the 8-10 million they used to draw. Now 5-7.5 million. But that show has owned perhaps the worst time slot 10 pm Fridays since 2010 with huge numbers consistently. Imagine if it was scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday nights at 9 pm. It might just have blown NCIS out of the water.
SpeedFlex27 Posted May 15, 2021 Report Posted May 15, 2021 Binge watching The Sopranos. I've seen every episode but I just find the show irresistible once you get into it. As Silvio Dante said, "Just when I thought I was out. They pull me back in!!"

I'm looking forward to these, even if I'm tired of Batman.
