'Wonder Years' Director Fred Savage Fired After 'Inappropriate' Conduct Allegations

Fred Savage has been fired after an investigation into a number of complaints of alleged misconduct in his role as executive producer and director of ABC’s “The Wonder Years.”

“Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched. Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of ‘The Wonder Years,’” a spokesperson for 20th Television told Deadline.

Details of the complaints were not provided.

Neither Savage nor his representatives were immediately available for comment.

well it doesn't quite surprise me that they're spinning off Descendants, I  guess someone had a story that needed to come out so they decided to revolve it around different kids this time around (besides I don't see them doing this around the OG four again especially since one of the stars passed on suddenly 3 years ago) I actually did see a SOPAC performance two weeks ago

yay  more Masked Singer on the way (and for god sakes don't book any politicians again at least when Kermit the Frog was on it was a PLEASANT surprise) so I guess Mayim is going to stick to the prime time Jeopardy job? (they keep making it clear that they will have someone full time next season and since Ken opted not to return to The Chase (and Buzzy is part of the people to chase now) I figured maybe he's getting the job full time)
