Ott @ Wpg

BC @ Mtl

Ham @ Edm

SK @ Tor

All Eastern vs Western teams again.   What are the chances that all of the Western Teams beat the Eastern teams again?  Be a heck of a log jam of ties in both divisions.

Might have to go buy a Sports Select ticket....

Hamilton might have a chance against Edmonton, and what if Ray comes back and does his 80% completion thing against the riders? I'd favour the Riders but Ray is Ray and he might just decide to win that one if the riders come in fat and sassy after stomping the tabbies. And let us never forget that the Bombers might Bomber up their game too.

Don't forget that KG5 looked terrible in week 1. If he keeps that up, Montreal's D and ST might put up enough points for them to squeak one out. Lord knows there offence won't.

It's the CFL  who knows what will happen.

I'm hoping BC and the Riders both get crushed that would be awesome.

It will be a very interesting week of football that is for sure.

For whatever reason, the Riders always play crappy in Toronto. Maybe it's the lack of wind and rain and the temperature being above 10C.

I agree with those thinking Sask will have a hard time against the Argos. We all know the team we beat last week is better than they looked. Ray will be out for revenge and I will gleefully accept it at the Riders expense.

Ottawa at Winnipeg

If you wanted to consider a weekend as a season....then Ottawa might be the 2nd best team in the East, at least.   For whatever that is worth.  Ottawa O has some potential...the rest is a mystery.   Bombers appear to have made big strides in QB and Coaching.  Secondary, OL, RB, and receiving corps have made strides as well.  A loss to Ottawa would be a giant setback.....butf the Blue D holds their form, from last week, and contains Burris, all should be well.  Bigger crowd at home will help jump start the Bombers to 2-0.   Take Bombers by 10.

BC at Montreal

Glenn struggled with picks, last week ....but BC generaly has the organization and coaching to make the required incremental improvements.   The Als O right now...is a mess.....fired first OC before season started....Smith is shaky at QB, players are sulking on the bench, along with some questionable coaching schemes.  Higgins just threw T. Smith under the bus, in the Montreal Gazette.  Best pure passer on roster is probably Alex Brink.  Popp might be coaching this crew (yet again) sooner than later.  Take BC, even on road... by 10.

Hamilton at Edmonton

Speaking of mess....Ticats game against Sask, last week.   Austin does not believe in running the ball.   He should reconsider, or at least design an moving pocket O which enables Zac C. to get to the hashmarks, with throw/run option.  In practice this may not be easy, as Cats may have the worst OL in the league.  The traditional lack of discipline (17 P) doesn't help, and they have holes on D.  Edmonton is improving and playing with some gusto.  Take another West on road...by 7.

Sask at Toronto

Argos are not as bad as they looked in the Peg......but just don't like the match up between inexperienced Argo D....and Sask's best OL/QB combination in league.  Ricardo will have to generate plenty of O, to keep Toronto in this one. If Argos struggle with penalties/turnovers again, or RR can't get it going....this could get ugly.  Bottom line...pretty hard to pick any East team to win, at this point.   Western sweep, Sask by 10

West take 3, the Argos avoid the sweep and pull out the win against the Riders ...

I think you are right, only because Chris Schultz is taking the Riders. "If the Riders can score more points than the Argos, they stand a much better chance of winning on the road this week".

Ottawa at Winnipeg. Ottawa's receivers are terrible. Who's Henry gonna throw the ball to?  Bombers haven't won consecutive games since Swaggerville. They'll regress from the heights of week 1, but it'll be enough. Bombers by 3 in a yawner.

BC at Montreal. Yikes. Where do you even start if you're Tom Higgins? BC by 14.

Hamilton at Edmonton.  I think Hamilton is better than they showed last week, but not good enough.  Edmonton by 7.

Sask at Toronto. The Argos D got eviscerated last week by the Bombers and I think Saskatchewan has a better O than Winnipeg. Ray will put up some points but it won't be enough.  Riders by 10.
