blitzmore Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 So.. Mike renaud is american (he called him INT) and doesnt think mike o'shea is ok with turners absence even tho.he was.quoted in the paper saying exactly opposite... Oh and a cfl RB doesnt need to block.. tell that to cory boyd, he of leading cfl in yards at the time and who was cut because he cant block! So, 0 fer 3 by this illustrious ex-ncaa (and 4 other leagues) coach... Hmm.. Something does not compute.. Don't feed the troll...
WinnipegBeach_BlueBombers Posted July 4, 2014 Author Report Posted July 4, 2014 Mike O'Shea did not say it was ok for him to miss the game. When did you hear him say.that? oh you mean in the news article 2 days after he was on video off the blue bomber website saying ''Turner will be playing on Thursday''..... the reporter asked him ''so you expect him to be back for the game?'' and MOS said ''he will be playing..... So that obviously means this fellow fans. Turner lied to the BB and said he was going to come back. When he got home. His wife probably had personal issues. Maybe they had nobody to assist her. Then Turners told the BB and say ''hey i'm not coming back'' but then MOS in his way said it was ok. Well he didn't say that back in the club press conference..... i'm telling you as a former football employee. Every single BB coach/player knows Turner should have been at the game. Turner could have left the day before but he decided to fly to Winnipeg last night. If it wasn't a big deal then it wouldn't be discussed all over. Why? because athletes miss their child birth. Maher did it..... And for the record. She had the baby he was there and he could have made it in time. It's not so much that he left. It was that he decided to stay for the extra days.
tacklewasher Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 This guy be trolling .. no sense in hashing it out with him or continuing in this thread .. On that note .. who likes bacon? I'm not impressed by bacon. Sure, YOU might think it tastes delicious, but anyone who really knows about meat knows that it's just lucky that it has so much salt on it. Take away the salt and fat and it has a lot of work to do on it's fundamentals before it's a decent piece of food. Now I KNOW your a troll.....

BomberFan Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Mike you have interesting perspective of the game....... First off Maher out punted Renaud yesterday. Why was the staff so high on him? He should have been cut last year. Maher punted 55 yards and had a 46 yarder into the wind with outstanding placement. Renaud punted 38 yard avg. enough said. Bryant Turner should have been in Winnipeg. There was zero reason for him to stay for 1 week. Like Troy Westwood say. You are different than a professional athlete. Almost 90% of the pro athletes actually miss the birth of their child to play in a game. Some even miss a meaningless game in MLB or NBA where as a CFL game has way more importance. Chris Walby said it best. Plan to have a child outside of football season. And that is the truth. It's like if you have a regular job that you know in the fall you will be busy. Majority of people would plan that. In fact isn't that just a basic life lesson to plan the birth of your child? and regards to Matt Bucknor. He got burnt once and you should know by now that every DB has that moment. He was almost perfect in the pursuit all night long and got at least 3 tackles covering his guy perfectly. Etches defensive game plan was an epic fail all night long. There were no adjustments made. It was a standard 4-3 combo blitz which allowed the inside DB's to play zone or the LB's to cover outside. They did this all night long so not sure what you saw. Unless you consider a dropped pass adjustments. Sure have your priorities right. LOL. Family is the most important thing in your life, so you can blow the above back up your ass, where it came from.
Dr. Blue Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 I like bacon too!!! I also like caesers, so I tried that new bacon infused vodka caesar and was very disappointed.
