Mike Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 For a conditional 2015 draft pick. Interesting move. Piggy 1 1
sweep the leg Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Not surprising. He has a lot of baggage in Regina, & the way he acted during the game last week was ridiculous.
Jesse Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Works for both sides, I think. Riders wanted to get rid of him and TO has got to be desperate for some CFL experience in their secondary. But the list of teams that is becoming disenchanted with Anderson is quickly expanding across the entire league.
TBURGESS Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Any idea what the conditions are and which draft picks may be involved? Very interesting move on both sides of the deal. Did Regina get tired of Anderson's antics? (What ever happened to the assault charges?) Who's spot does Anderson take in Toronto?
KptKrunch Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Not surprising. He has a lot of baggage in Regina, & the way he acted during the game last week was ridiculous. What did he do now? I missed it. I remember last year here in Edmonton he had a real hissy fit - cost his team about 60 yards (in penalties) over something really selfish. He was even arguing with his coaches on the sidelines. We were all laughing at him and cheering him on as the flags kept mounting. He'll fit right in in Toronto lol.
M.O.A.B. Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Maybe Taman is picking up Banks from the streets.

He was fighting with teammates on the sideline again. He also played like crap...
TBieber Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 If it is extra windy in Saskatchewan today, it is the collective exhale from Rider fans who don't have to pretend to like Dwight Anderson anymore. Blueandgold, Jpan85, mbrg and 3 others 6
kelownabomberfan Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Just spit-balling here, but if you are fighting with your team-mates, then this may apply:
mbrg Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Any idea what the conditions are and which draft picks may be involved? Very interesting move on both sides of the deal. Did Regina get tired of Anderson's antics? (What ever happened to the assault charges?) Who's spot does Anderson take in Toronto? His were dropped, Taj Smith's were not. My guess is he beaked off at everyone in a 3 mile radius and Smith was dumb enough to stick up for him. With Anderson, it's probably a decent guess.
gbill2004 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 This trade would suggest there is zero interest in Banks.
Floyd Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Burke now has his aging CB that he can rotate to every position in the back 8 and eventually throw under the bus... Blue-urns and johnzo 2
robynjt Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Anderson causes problems everywhere he goes so... not surprising...
iso_55 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Here's the story but I understand Anderson got into a shouting match on the sidelines Saturday with DE John Chick & had a bad game as well. That isn't mentioned in the story. http://www.thestar.com/sports/argos/2014/07/07/toronto_argos_acquire_former_allstar_dwight_anderson_from_roughriders_in_cfl_trade.html
Jpan85 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Merged with the early thread on Dwight Anderson
iso_55 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Burke now has his aging CB that he can rotate to every position in the back 8 and eventually throw under the bus... If anyone deserves to not only be thrown under a moving bus but then run over, it's Anderson. Total dirt bag.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Merged with the early thread on Dwight Anderson excellent moderation around here, I must say. You guys are really on the ball.
bluto Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 another problem-child-project for Pinball. this is kinda our specialty. i think that DA may have some good football still in him and he may (especially a couple of weeks from now in the Rectangle) play like he has something to prove.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 another problem-child-project for Pinball. this is kinda our specialty. . Making lemons from Cleo Lemonade.
do or die Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Name player....issues....Argos... Not a bad fit.....
Tracker Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Anderson will probably toe the line for a week or two but he is who he is and that will surface again. SPuDS and holoman 2
Jpan85 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Yup has a concussion not good for a guy with a history of them
