O2L Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 Shame on all of you picking Bowman! How's this for an out of left field... ROMBYYYYY BRYYYYANNNNT!!!
mbrg Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 Arland Bru...no wait, Brandon Whitaker. Adarius Bowman's 3 TD's last week should get me back to 0 strikes.
Noeller Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Walker ...reckon this doesn't count, as all picks have to be in before the first game, correct?
Jpan85 Posted July 18, 2014 Author Report Posted July 18, 2014 No have to be by kickoff of the game which your picked player is playing in
bluto Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 just got home... game is 3 plays old... not sure if i can have Coombs or not... if not, i'll take Anthony Parker.
AtlanticRiderFan Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 ****. I didn't change my pick. There's another strike.
Noeller Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 No have to be by kickoff of the game which your picked player is playing in So I could just wait through each of the first 3 games, and then increase my odds by only having to pick between players from 2 teams each week...
mbrg Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 Doesn't matter. Strikes all around. There will be no touchdowns scored this week.

If you want to lower your available pool of players. I don't see how it's really an advantage other than you simply have less choice... MOBomberFan, AtlanticRiderFan and Logan007 3
Noeller Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 Seems like your odds are lot better...but whatever...it's not that I care, it just seems odd. "Well, I was gonna take Grigsby, but forgot to get it in...thank goodness...I'll wait and pick one of the RBs from the two existing teams..."
17to85 Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 well look at it this way, let's say the Bombers and Esks game was the last one on the schedule this week instead of the first, "well I missed the first 3 games but I got a chance here, I'll take Grigsby the rbs are always a safe choice" doesn't get you any further ahead right? The odds I don't think change at all, just that you cut out 3/4 of the choices by waiting until the last game. AtlanticRiderFan 1
AtlanticRiderFan Posted July 19, 2014 Report Posted July 19, 2014 I agree with 17. How does waiting increase your odds? And why bother waiting anyway? Might as well pick when you can.
Logan007 Posted July 20, 2014 Report Posted July 20, 2014 Right. Whether you choose a player from the last 2 teams playing right before kickoff or 4 days before kickoff...how the heck does waiting increase your chances? It's still the same 2 teams playing. Chances are that neither team even scores a TD. Ottawa didn't even score one in their game with Toronto, it was all field goals.
tacklewasher Posted July 20, 2014 Report Posted July 20, 2014 I feel like we are discudding the Monty Hall problem..... But Harris came through for me again.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 is there going to be a week 5 thread? I need to get my pick in before I head off to Vancouver.
MOBomberFan Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Marve Wrong thread Griller. This way good sir.
