Tracker Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 You think there's any chance the Riders wouldn't just back a dump truck full of money up to him? Does a bear Catholic?
do or die Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 You think there's any chance the Riders wouldn't just back a dump truck full of money up to him? He might want to go with the winning program....
Blueandgold Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 Anyone think the Bombers may make a play for Dressler if he's cut by the Chiefs? Apparently he's in pretty tough. Bryant isn't the answer and Willy may already have more chemistry with him(Dressler) than any of current guys on the team. No chance Dressler goes anywhere but the Riders. I'd be more than happy to just get Chris Matthews back.
Mark H. Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 Listening for the first time in a while so I'll try to recap as we go ... -- MOS was asked about any regrets re: cutting Ford. Said no due to his injuries and pointed out Grigsby 2nd in rushing league wide (not a good sign for us Cotton fans) Grigsby didn't really look all that bad on Friday night. The tackles for big losses really hurt his stats. He was also asked to convert a lot of short yardage. yeah he did look that bad. He did too much side to side running rather than taking the ball upfield and not getting much he ran sideways and lost more. The play action...curiously continues to be very effective...
Mike Posted July 29, 2014 Author Report Posted July 29, 2014 honestly, this program is just wasting MOS time. It's in his contract. i know that but the current format is really a waste of time. it's really is.Stop complaining and call in and ask questions you'd like to hear answered. Lighten up. AKAChip 1

I thought about this for 10 minutes and I still don't get it. Do you mean "Is the pope Catholic"? It's a funny, purposefully non-sensical combination of "Does a bear **** in the woods?" and "Is the Pope Catholic?" I found this one funnier than the usual combination, which is "Does the Pope **** in the woods?" So kudos, Tracker, for making me laugh on a forum that isn't the one I normally go to for laughs.

Also, I can't believe how boring I was there in explaining a joke. There is nothing more unfunny in the world than the explanation of a joke. I wish I could downvote myself or something. Haha.

Floyd Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Grigsby was OK... he was handed the ball a couple times with defenders 2' away from him - tackle for loss or QB sack, take your pick. We ran a lot in the 4th up the gut, even with tight ends... Grigsby had a couple early runs and playaction helped us a lot that game
FrostyWinnipeg Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 No questions about replacing Marve at 3rd and short?
gbill2004 Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 No questions about replacing Marve at 3rd and short? Yep. O'Shea said the coaching staff spent extra time with Marve after practice coaching him up on the short yardage sneaks. O'Shea acknowledged it's been a problem. Noeller and FrostyWinnipeg 2
