Rich Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 Not surprising, Bombers stay at 3rd behind Calgary and Edmonton. http://cfl.ca/article/cflca-power-rankings-unbeaten-stamps-on-top-again
Chaosmonkey Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 TLDR Power Rankings WEST ... ... .... ... EAST
kelownabomberfan Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 TLDR Power Rankings WEST ... ... .... ... EAST Does anyone know when this wasn't the case? I've been following the CFL for at least 35 years and I don't remember a year when the East wasn't weaker than the West.

I've been following the CFL for at least 35 years and I don't remember a year when the East wasn't weaker than the West. Regular season this seems to always be the case. Come GC time going back to 1995 the West has only won 2 more cups then the East. Sorta surprising.

BBlink Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 Normally there are one or two Eastern teams that get into the top 4 of the power rankings throughout the year. This year it has literally been the West absolutely dominating the East, top to bottom.

KptKrunch Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Usually there's always been at least one East team that could hang with the west, but so far this year, mostly due to injuries - there isn't. Once the Argo's get healthy again they'll be ok. And I'm not discounting Hamilton either. They're off to a rocky start but always liked Lefevour. Wpg will be a good test for him to see how far along he really is. Ottawa no depth - Mtrl - as long as Smith is there they will be the worst team in the league.
Zontar Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Usually there's always been at least one East team that could hang with the west, but so far this year, mostly due to injuries - there isn't. . Before injuries TOR obliterated SSK, MTL beat BC, HAM lost to CAL and EDM by three points. The gulf betweeen east and west isnt as big as some wish it was. Atomic 1
Pete Catan's Ghost Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Stop with the East/West imbalance already. Way too much conversation revolving around an imaginary geographic line that separates two divisions. Unfortunately these groups are not equal in number and features one team which moves back and forth over the line with regularity. All that matters is our division...whichever one it is this year.
