PHILADELPHIA - Hey China: Are you ready for some football?

The China American Football League plans to kick off in the world's most populous country in 2015. The announcement made Thursday comes less than a year after Philadelphia Soul co-owner Marty Judge sponsored the first American football game played in China.

The indoor CAFL is expected to begin with six to eight teams in two conferences. The franchises will be in major cities in China and include a combination of American and Chinese players.

Former Super Bowl-winning coach **** Vermeil and former Pro Bowl quarterback Ron Jaworski partnered with Judge to help make it happen.

CAFL franchise owners will invest $10 million to start.

Another source of talent ? will the Chinese players count as National or International ?

Pretty sure they will be nationals, well for sure in 50 years or so.  When it is China North America, we can go visit the China Mall of America in Minneapolis and head West and tour the China Oil Sands in Alberta.

At least it will still be called the CFL, I guess the other would be the CNFL, unless they merge the countries and make it CNAFL.

They ought to add the word "union" instead of "League"  to complete the initials properly to "CNAFU". That ought to do it.
