If he is a notch above a fence post......he is in like Flynn...

I concur. IF this is legit then i have a hard time imagining that he doesnt get a sure shot at stealing a job..

He was trying out at guard but played predominantly at right tackle in college... From what the tidbit on him explained anyway.. I assume his interior play wasn't as good as his tackle (but again, who knows... This is still a "rumour" technically)

Do we expect to hear the "official" signing during the interview today? Also, do we recall ever having brothers playing on the opposite sides of the ball (and line) before? I remember the ball bros in the secondary and the boyko bros on the special teams...

The Colts announced on their website that they have signed offensive lineman Chad Anderson. To make room for the guard, the Colts waived undrafted rookie defensive endGannon Conway.

Anderson, a 6’3″, 321 pound lineman, comes to Indianapolis by way of the LA Kiss of the Arena Football League. Anderson started 32-of-35 career collegiate games and was a three-time letterman at Northern Michigan. He made 32 consecutive starts over his final three seasons, including the last 21 at the right tackle position. As a senior in 2013, he blocked for an offense that averaged 352.8 total yards per game, including 231.7 yards passing and 121.1 yards rushing.

Conway, signed in June after being waived by the Dolphins, was a UDFA out of Arizona State. In 30 career games (14 starts) for the Sun Devils, he recorded 51 tackles (33 solo), nine tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and two passes defensed.

Played guard in NFL but he's most experienced at tackle.

I know they had their eye on him for a while, this wasn't a favor to Zach. He originally went to the AFL because the ability to move to the NFL is easier.
