Jpan85 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Sig uniforms for Ottawa and a guaranteed win in BC let's see how this plays out.
gbill2004 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 I'm hoping Sask beats BC as I expect the last playoff spot will be between Bombers and BC.
TBURGESS Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Stamps and Esks are the top tier in the CFL and Bombers, Riders and Lions are the second tier. The last playoff spot will be determined by how well we play against the Riders and the Lions IMHO.
iso_55 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Gonna miss both games today. I'll see a bit of the 1st quarter in Ottawa. I'm in Vancouver watching my son's practices at SFU & then spending time with family in Bellingham, Washington afterwards today.
iso_55 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Calgary wore their red helmets vs Hamilton & black ones vs Ottawa? That makes no sense. Why would the CFL allow both teams to wear black helmets. Calgary should be wearing their red ones.
iso_55 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Oh my, Mitchell's pass tipped at LOS & Jonathan Williams takes it back for 6. That looked like a bit of a nonchalant throw.

The last playoff spot will be determined by how well we play against the Riders and the Lions IMHO. I think there's less difference than you think there is. Both the Esks and Stamps have escaped by the skin of their teeth a few times. Obviously they're at the top right now, but that could change by the end of the season.
AKAChip Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Where are the ridiculous Ottawa helmets???
iso_55 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Where are the ridiculous Ottawa helmets??? You're right.... Holy crap.
Jpan85 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 These jerseys are nicer than their regular ones
Jpan85 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 @paddyneufeld They'll be worn the second time we wear the jerseys. — Ottawa REDBLACKS (@REDBLACKS) August 24, 2014
Fatty Liver Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 I see Cornish is back. Too bad the BB couldn't have a crack at the Stamps without him.
Fraser Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 They just said Ottawa is the only team starting a cdn at sam
Goalie Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 I've been watching the game and it's getting quite nauseating listening to miller and forde pump ottawas tires so much. IMO, the biggest problem with Ottawa right now is the QB. Buriss ain't passing the ball, he's throwing it.. and he's missing receivers badly. I'd put in demarco if I was ottawa but because hank is signed to such a huge contract, i doubt that happens any time soon. BattleLevel 1
Floyd Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Second game? This whole signature jersey thing makes no sense at all.
BomberFan Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Ottawas secondary is pure garbage. I'd be embarrassed if I cared.
Jpan85 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 So when people say Bombers lucky to be 6-3 having squeaked out wins against the East. What's the difference between them and other west teams squeaking out wins? Calgary has barely won against Hamilton and Ottawa twice.
Mark H. Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 So when people say Bombers lucky to be 6-3 having squeaked out wins against the East. What's the difference between them and other west teams squeaking out wins? Calgary has barely won against Hamilton and Ottawa twice. You know the difference...Calgary couldn't possibly suck. I say let them keep doing it...motivate the Bombers even more.
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Ottawa's offense is awful. Henry Burris stinks.
Goalie Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 lol it's 32-7. This game IMO was never in doubt, Calgary has like a 15 minute advantage in time of possession. This is ridiculous actually.
Fatty Liver Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Ottawa fans are already starting to turn on the team, I dreaded this would happen....again.
Goalie Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 The fans were never the issue in Ottawa, not sure why anyone thinks that. They have had the worst ownership groups in the CFL in the past. The attendance has always been good. I can't blame them for booing, their team hasn't scored an offensive touchdown at home this year besides the trick play one and i believe that might be considered a special teams touchdown. And demarco is hurt on a tough play there, guy got tackled in to him, He done for a while now.
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Two low hits in a row on Demarco in a 25 point game. Thats bull ****.
Goalie Posted August 24, 2014 Report Posted August 24, 2014 Two low hits in a row on Demarco in a 25 point game. Thats bull ****. Turner was tackled in to him, I'm not sure how he could have avoided that one.
Jpan85 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Report Posted August 24, 2014 Can't fault Turner on the last one blocked into Demarco
