USABomberfan Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Nvm, just saw DeMarco was a scratch. No wonder. They should sign Joey Elliot.
iso_55 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Wow, USABomberfan, you say some of the darndest things. Really??? blitzmore 1
Floyd Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Riders play Montreal 3x and Hamilton twice - pretty sure they will win a few... maybe even surprise BC or Sask Riders? I think he means the Ottawa Rough Riders. Old school, sorry.
bearpants Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I didn't think the Bombers would win another game at this time last year ... and hey we ended up winning 2 more!! I think they'll get a least a couple more

Yes, besides what if something happens to Burris? Do they just throw an unready Danny O'Brien into action and damage him? No to that if you're a Redblack fan. I been saying for a while that Burris is now in Calvillo land and needs to retire, if you're Ottawa, you gotta think about dumping the guy now. And currently, Joey Elliot is a better QB than anyone else's practice roster guy and has experience that should've been utilized by us or other teams. Redblacks should go get him.
AtlanticRiderFan Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 I think so, but they'll be 3-15 or 4-14. Change that to 2-16.
KptKrunch Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 haha - way to revive an old thread Yeah, if Willy can't go, they'll win their 2nd game against us - easy. Could fluke out another towards the end if the team their playing has clinched, can't move up (or down) and rest all their starters - Ottawa players will be playing for jobs. AtlanticRiderFan 1

Have to disagree with you on this- if this was the 2013 Bombers, I could not find fault with your logic, but its 2014. We may be short on talent at the moment, but we have Willy, even if he's banged up and the overall team compares very favourably to Ottawa. This has to be a pride game and we could call it the Futility Bowl. If Ottawa loses it will be no big deal to them, but if the Bombers lose to this sad lot, they deserve to walk back to Winnipeg. What worries me is that Hank could have his one spectacular game of the year against us.

Blueandgold Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 This game tomorrow is certainly no lock for a team that's lost four straight games. We need to go into Ottawa and kick the living **** out of them.
17to85 Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 Anyone who doesn't have faith in the Bombers finding a way to lose a game they should win clearly hasn't followed the team for the past how many years? Never take anything for granted with this team, they just love to rip our hearts out. Brandon Blue&Gold 1
Brandon Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 Well the defenses on both teams have picked it up. Ultimately the game boils down to if they give Burris time to throw. Ottawa has an awful returner and no running game..
TBURGESS Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 The game for Ottawa boils down to: Can the receivers catch the ball consistently? Can the O line give Burris time consistently? Can the D line get pressure on Willy some/most of the time?
