Rich Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I like them. Remind me of BCs but with the numbers more legible.
Chaosmonkey Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Certainly a different approach than the other Jerseys. A lot less going on with these.
Fraser Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I like it. But franky I like matte black so much I think a matte black spatula would look pretty cool. SPuDS 1
Captain Blue Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Really like Hamilton's, really LOVE Montreal's. I wish we had gotten a nice one.
ALuCsRED Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I don't think the Winnipeg crowd would accept anything besides the Royal Blues. How else could they wear the jersey their parents bought them in high school in the 80's? If every team had black or grey, no one would ever be able to play each other with these jerseys.
Adrenaline_x Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Who da **** designed our signature look??? Like wtf???
BattleLevel Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 It really seems like there was an A and B team of designers working on these things. Too bad the B team did the Bombers' jerseys...
Mr Dee Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 To me, they're missing something from their uniform that is tantamount to our uniforms missing the Gold…and that is they're missing their Tiger stripes. They look good..but Tony the Tiger will be disappointed.

You obviously weren't alive in the 1980's. Our parents didn't buy us Bomber jersies back in those days. They were too busy spending all of their money on cocaine. pigseye and bearpants 2

My parents buy me a Royal Blue Bomber jersey back in the day? Man, today's generation is sure entitled. ( Ha ha, I keed). However in all seriousness, my parents went thru the Depression & then WW2. All I ever heard growing up was how lucky I was to have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, 3 squares a day, the clothes on my back & how I didn't really know the value of money as a teen. (That part was true). And oh yeah Son, if you want that Blue Bomber jersey, go & get a job. Blah, blah, blah... My parents were always afraid their house or what little money they had would be taken away by another depression or war.
iso_55 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Hamilton's is light years better than ours.
bearpants Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 jersey report card IMO: BC = A+ Montreal = A Hammy = B+ Sask = C Tor = D Winnipeg = F- FWIW I would have been ok with a Navy Blue bombers jersey... as long as it incorporated gold and didn't have the bird poop helmet and shoulders...

do or die Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 To insinuate that actual designers worked on the Bombers jersey....is giving somebody way too much credit....
Y2C Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Doesn't look anything like the Argos. Terrible. Mr Dee 1
TBieber Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 1. Montreal 2. Hamilton 3. BC 4. Ottawa 5. Toronto 6. Saskatchewan 7. Winnipeg If Calgary's look anything like that helmet, they'll rise to #1 immediately.

My parents were always afraid their house or what little money they had would be taken away by another depression or war. Ha ha yeah I think we had the same parents. There was no way I was going to get a Jersey, unless I bought it myself. Parents just didn't spend money on dumb **** like that like they do now. We got to pick two movies a year we got to see in the theatre, and if we were lucky, we got a Happy meal afterwards. Of course, our parents were also paying 90% taxes at the time due to Justin's socialist daddy, but that's a different story. Jaxon 1
MrMoe Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I really like those helmets. The jersey is simple but bold. Hamilton is my favourite at this point. (Words I never thought would come out of my mouth... or fingers, I suppose)
Logan007 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I think they're all crap. Not that they're bad, but they're unimaginative and not creative (maybe a couple of the helmets are creative like Calgary's, but that's it). And half of them aren't even the right colors. These are just a big pile of meh.

Right, but if you're known for certain colors like Blue and Gold, you'd think you'd keep those colors in the mix. The SK board is saying the same thing about their colors...where's the white? It would be like removing the gold helmets from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Do that and watch the fans freak out.
Goalie Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Gonna throw up in my mouth a bit here but so far, These ticat jerseys are my favourite. They look nice, clean simple and look like ticat colours. I can't give anyone an A, not even BC as i think all black is just too simple.. but Ticats B+ Lions B Redblacks B Als C Riders F Bombers F Arogs F
comedygeek Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 I think the Als jerseys are slick and creative, and the Ticats are simple but effective. The black numbers on black jersey ruin BC's for me, but it's still better than the Argos' or Bombers'. I don't hate Saskatchewan's as much as others do (still way better than their all-white unis) and besides the logo on the front, the RedBlacks' are decent.I find ours worse than the dreaded mid-90s jerseys right after we switched to navy and were lacking a lot of gold -- and I hated those things with a passion. Thank God we only have to see them one more time next season.
