Mr Dee Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Don't worry. At the end of the year they will review this policy and it will be fixed. On the other hand, with their record of reviews….
DR. CFL Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Rule changes first have to get based the recommendation of the rules committee comprised of GMs and HCs and then the BOG. It was worth a try.
17to85 Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 it was not worth a try because any amount of common sense would say that it was going to wind up exactly like it has. I guarantee that GMs and HCs went "we can get free PI calls with a challenge flag? SOLD!"
max power Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Yeah, anyone who follows the CFL should have known it would be a disaster. I know most people were surprised that it actually was implemented, but I actually expected more from the media warning about what a gongshow it would be. But for some reason most of the sports media has a lust for more video replay in any and all situations in all sports.
Goalie Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Get the strong feeling that we are going to hear the phrase "not enough evidence to over turn the call" quite a bit from now on. It's the CFL's way of not making the refs look like total morons.
Jpan85 Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I don't get the point if at the end of the season they over turn 10-12 calls. Should of just left it alone.
