Blueandgold Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Why would they need Joseph when they have a stud like Sunseri?
robynjt Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 "That's all up to the coaches, realistically I think Tino is going to be the guy this week," said Taman. "Kerry's not coming in here to be a guy that stands there and holds a clipboard. He's here for a reason, he'll get thrown into the mix and see how he does. I think if Tino produces and plays as well as he can, he'll be the guy." Hehe...heh...heh.. This is only funny because what faith (mgmt and fanbase) they showed in Sunseri - and how quickly they pulled him? Now, Joseph is the next guy up after they throw Doege to the wolves against one of the best defense's in the league? Oooook. This is the running back situation all over.
mbrg Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Saw a link for a story about a derailment and fire in Saskatchewan - imagine my surprise in finding out this wasn't about the riders.
Ripper Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Even our friendly neighbourhood riderfans can't be bothered to come here and try to put some shine on this turd. What do you want to discuss?
FrostyWinnipeg Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Casey Printers should really answer his phone. kelownabomberfan 1
rebusrankin Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Nealon Greene refused to talk to Taman? AtlanticRiderFan 1
AtlanticRiderFan Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Just a back up for Sunseri. Tino will remain starter still.
AtlanticRiderFan Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Why would they need Joseph when they have a stud like Sunseri? To back up Tino. Doege is bad.
kelownabomberfan Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 I'll see your loser horn and raise you a sad trombone... Max Hall - dude - you should have known in the CFL there is a place for every bad QB as long as he has some experience, just as Joey Elliott and Alex Brink.

do or die Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 The consensus on Riderfans....is that this a sage move......
kelownabomberfan Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 The consensus on Riderfans....is that this a sage move...... Even John Stamos gets it...
iso_55 Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 @PentonKirk Great move by the #Roughriders, though. They couldn't get Burris. Needed a veteran. No .. it really isn't though .. it's a move born out of desperation .. similar to our move to sign Bishop under Kelly .. it's all about trying to salvage part of their season .. and I'm not sure you do that with a 41 year old quarterback who hasn't played a meaningful snap of football in two years. Great move, Penton? To that I say HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

ediger Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Just a back up for Sunseri. Tino will remain starter still. Until he shits the bed again...
rebusrankin Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Tino is the starter for sure? Really, for a whole game this time? A quarter?
robynjt Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Just a back up for Sunseri. Tino will remain starter still. They've already pulled Tino though. How confident are they really?
AtlanticRiderFan Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Just a back up for Sunseri. Tino will remain starter still. They've already pulled Tino though. How confident are they really? I think the performance last game was convincing enough. Who knows, he could crap the bed again. But I think he has been a lot more confident since the Calgary game.
robynjt Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 I'm genuinely curious how you can come to that conclusion. Have they even practiced since the game? And trust me, we're Bomber fans. We are sceptical from years of experience. The next guy is always going to fine... Right?
Zontar Posted October 8, 2014 Author Report Posted October 8, 2014 Great move ? To me its a giant white flag of how Riders have firetrucked talent evaluation of their backup QBs.
Mark H. Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 I'm left shaking my head...the more things change...the more they stay the same.
JohnnyOnTheSpot Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Joseph is an amazing athlete BUT I can't remember his last good game. It's been years.
bearpants Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Joseph is an amazing athlete BUT I can't remember his last good game. It's been years. I'm thinking 2007.... that's not that long ago... right?

You'll forgive me if I dismiss your opinion as uninformed, you were afterall on here just a week ago talking about how Doege was the man and better than Sunseri.
