MOBomberFan Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Woo Cotton! Been waiting all season to see him get a legit shot at the starting gig.
Tracker Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 But...but..but...the running game is just fine. Just matter of execution we are told. Seriously, though- I have not been a fan of Grigsby for a couple of months now but he probably never got much of a chance behind that atrocious O-line to show his stuff so I don't know if Cotton or McGuffie are going to do any better. Mr. Perfect Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 May be much ado about nothing after all, though I don't recall tweets/media comments in previous weeks of Grigsby taking limited reps early in the practice week... Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 2m2 minutes ago As has happened before early in practice weeks, Nic Grigsby taking second and third-team reps. Paris Cotton taking handoffs from Willy.
Noeller Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 They've been doing this for weeks now...I think he's maybe taking another rest day.
Logan007 Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 I was just going to say, they did this for Willy when he was hurt just to give him time to rest. They're probably doing the same for Grigsby.
pigseye Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 This is what frustrates me the most about O'Shea. I can buy the 'you can't stick a newly arrived player into the lineup because he doesn't know the system' line. But, Cotton's been here all year and knows the system. Yet O'Shea tells the media that the Oline and RB are not the problem, that it's the defences blitzing when we have called a run play and have to call out of it. What the F does that even mean?
Noeller Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 why does it matter what he's telling the media?
pigseye Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 How else do the fans get their information on the team?
Mr. Perfect Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 Shawn Churchill @ShawnChurchill 1m1 minute ago @EJKUALE will miss Mondays game vs Edmonton tacklewasher, comedygeek, Yourface and 1 other 4
DR. CFL Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 People need to stop bitching about Grigsby....Tied for third in rushing...leads in rushing TDs....second In yards Recieving by RBs to Andrew Harris. Similar yards as Whitiker who plays behind a far superior o line than Grigsby. What exactly do people expect from Grigsby? The Unknown Poster, Goalie, Bigblue204 and 2 others 5

Mr. Perfect Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 What exactly do people expect from Grigsby? To break a tackle. rebusrankin, MOBomberFan, Logan007 and 3 others 6
DR. CFL Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Do people really expect O'Shame to admit he has a garbage o line while using 3 subpar Imports. Noeller 1
DR. CFL Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 How do you break a tackle when the blocking is so poor you are getting met behind the LOS Goalie and LeBird 2
pigseye Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Shawn Churchill @ShawnChurchill 1m1 minute ago @EJKUALE will miss Mondays game vs Edmonton There's 30 yards of field position right there tacklewasher, ALuCsRED, rebusrankin and 3 others 6
Mr. Perfect Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 How do you break a tackle when the blocking is so poor you are getting met behind the LOS Because not every run is like that, and many times you see a running back turn runs of what should be a loss of two into a gain of 3. Grigsby doesn't do that. Noeller and Goalie 2
pigseye Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Do people really expect O'Shame to admit he has a garbage o line while using 3 subpar Imports. Pretty sad though when just told us in his last presser that it wasn't the RB but hey coaches prerogative to change his mind I guess.
DR. CFL Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Gee Then if he is so piss poor why is still being played.
Mr. Perfect Posted October 9, 2014 Author Report Posted October 9, 2014 Gee Then if he is so piss poor why is still being played. You could easily say the same for Kuale, Sherman, and Bryant just to name a few.
Blueandgold Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Its nice to see a guy actually get benched for performance reasons. Its just shocking that it wasn't Kuale.
pigseye Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Gee Then if he is so piss poor why is still being played. Because Napoleon Marcel Bellefeuille runs a BIG play offense and you have to have players with BIG play potential in the lineup, lol.
sweep the leg Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Its nice to see a guy actually get benched for performance reasons. Its just shocking that it wasn't Kuale. Kromah had the chance to take his job and couldn't do it. Goalie 1
