BigBlue Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 It seems to me that BC has as good a chance of coming out of the Eastern playoffs as either Hamilton or Montreal Has the CFL arranged for the host city to play in the Grey Cup again, LOL? If true then the Blue are a shoe-in for the Grey Cup next year !!! LOL LOL LOL
gbill2004 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Does this mean we're signing Ben Heenan and trading EJ Kuale & Mike Renaud for Ricky Ray?
Tracker Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Does this mean we're signing Ben Heenan and trading EJ Kuale & Mike Renaud for Ricky Ray? I'm getting moist and tingly again......
17to85 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Does this mean we're signing Ben Heenan and trading EJ Kuale & Mike Renaud for Ricky Ray? Only if Braley buys the team between now and then. Noeller and FrostyWinnipeg 2
bearpants Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 I agree that BC has as good a chance as Ham or Mtl of representing the East... but not as favourable as it looked early in the year... I think BC beats Mtl but then loses to Hamilton...
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 B.C. biggest advantage is that they have a vet QB. Here come the Glenn haters.
Blueandgold Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 No way does Kevin Glenn go into Hamilton and win the East Final assuming they beat Montreal(which by no means is any sort of guarantee).
Jpan85 Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Hamilton has become a tough team to beat at home the second half of the year. It will take a big effort for either Montreal or BC to knock them off.
Jacquie Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 History is against the Lions winning the East. There has never been a cross-over team in the GC. Then again, the Argos are the first 8 win team to miss the playoffs in at least 20 years so who knows. As of today, the forecast for Montreal says a high of 3C and snow.
Fatty Liver Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 If Hamilton does get to the Grey Cup, Kent Austin is due some respect for his coaching abilities. This happens too often to be considered coincidental.
Tracker Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 If BC does not advance to the Eastern final, and maybe even if they do, there will be changes in BC.

Do they still play playoff games in The Big O?.... Better question... does that stadium still exist?
BigBlue Posted November 10, 2014 Author Report Posted November 10, 2014 How healthy is BC going into Montreal? Which starters will be missing besides Harris? Could Lulay play?
17to85 Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 How healthy is BC going into Montreal? Which starters will be missing besides Harris? Could Lulay play? Even if he is healthy I don't think you can go to Lulay in the playoffs when he hasn't played more than a couple games this season. That's just setting the team up to fail. Glenn got them there, he's the man to lead them in the game for good or bad. Blueandgold and Tracker 2

Glenn off the pine when Lulay faulters due to rust or reinjury but i really cant imagine Glenn plays unless he has to..
Blueandgold Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 Glenn starts regardless of Lulay's health. Now, if Glenn is struggling and Lulay is healthy then you might try to bring in Lulay off the bench.
BigBlue Posted November 11, 2014 Author Report Posted November 11, 2014 A healthy Lulay could be an effective threat especially to Glenn

This is the first time they've played a playoff game at Percival Molson that I can remember. And yes the Big Owe still exists.
BigBlue Posted November 11, 2014 Author Report Posted November 11, 2014 BC matches up well against Montreal at QB ... the tipping factor is that BC's defense is much better than the Al's D

Crompton ought to be in a full body cast by the end of the game.
