MOBomberFan Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I like Elimimian over Ray for POY, if only because Ray missed as many games as he did.
Noeller Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 Ray was a default option because there was absolutely nobody in the East worthy of the nomination. Elimimian in a landslide.
MOBomberFan Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Ray was a default option because there was absolutely nobody in the East worthy of the nomination. Elimimian in a landslide. What about the "Great Grigsby"!?!
TrueBlue Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Elimimian in a landslide. For both awards. I wonder how many times a defensive player has won both.
Jpan85 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Would be never since a defensive player has never won MOP
TrueBlue Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Actually, kind of surprised that Sol beat out Bowman for MOP. He had a great year yardage wise AND reception wise. He showed some very good hands this season. 112 catches is not a small task. I can't even remember the last time a receiver had that many catches.
TrueBlue Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Would be never since a defensive player has never won MOP Interesting.
Mike Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I would've easily chosen Bowman over Elimimian for MOP. Bowman's numbers aren't HUGE. Until you see the numbers of everybody else.
Jpan85 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Could not go wrong with either Bowman or Eliminian
Noeller Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 Blah to changing the thread title......*fart noise*......
sweep the leg Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Wiecek said today McCallum won b/c he had the better %. Apparently no weight was given to the difference in condiitions between their home stadiums. FrostyWinnipeg 1

Jpan85 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Blah to changing the thread title......*fart noise*...... Felt like we need to show him a little respect for what he has done this year
Fraser Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I already asked this last year but forgot. What is the difference between and player of the year and an allstar
Blueandgold Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I don't care how good Bowman's stats are, he most definitely doesn't deserve to be MOP. He still leaves almost as many plays on the field as he makes.
basslicker Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Congrats, LH....not an All Star, but CFL West POY. F***ing reporters..... Actual quality honest reporters never make it to the big time. Companies don't want honesty, they want sensationalism. That's why I don't miss broadcasting.

Actual quality honest reporters never make it to the big time. Companies don't want honesty, they want sensationalism. That's why I don't miss broadcasting. I've carved out a solid little 12 year career (...so far...) being BRUTALLY honest at all times. Sometimes, you just have to be good enough at your job...
JuranBoldenRules Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Cornish had an all-time yards per game type season. I can understand the argument of not playing enough games, but if he played enough games to be Most Outstanding Canadian, he should be MOP too. Yourface and rebusrankin 2
Tracker Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 I already asked this last year but forgot. What is the difference between and player of the year and an allstar Semantics.
Brandon Blue&Gold Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 I already asked this last year but forgot. What is the difference between and player of the year and an allstar Who votes on it, apparently. This article helped me when I asked the same question... https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/cfl-55-yard-line/cfl-awards-notes--part-ii--cancon-on-ol--first-k-battle-since-2006--outstanding-non-all-stars-203851383.html
johnzo Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 I don't care how good Bowman's stats are, he most definitely doesn't deserve to be MOP. He still leaves almost as many plays on the field as he makes. So he left like 100 plays on the field this year?
