gbill2004 Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 I did some quick math and the average attendance at IGF this season was 28,314 per game. Not sure what the budget projected but this isn't too bad, considering the type of season we had. Obviously this was helped out a lot by the two Rider home games which were both sellouts.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 Prob break even for the year which for a team with a 80+ mil deficit is not good. Should be better next year.
Atomic Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 Prob break even for the year which for a team with a 80+ mil deficit is not good. Should be better next year. Break even??? No way. Expect a profit of at least 5 mil. wpgallday1960 1
The Unknown Poster Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 What was the profit last year? Teams a cash cow right now. More so than people suspected. They will be fine.
iso_55 Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 Think we wouldn't be ecstatic if the Argos averaged that instead of 18,000? That's being generous, too.
wpgallday1960 Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 Prob break even for the year which for a team with a 80+ mil deficit is not good. Team made 5mil last year iirc. Should be close this year. Should be better next year. Break even??? No way. Expect a profit of at least 5 mil.
Goalie Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 They will have a pretty big profit for sure. Those are solid numbers actually.
SPuDS Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Quite surprised by those numbers, even factoring the last 4 home game dropping significantly.
iso_55 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 The City is just waiting for a winner to get behind. When it finally happens IGF will be a rockin' & a rollin' BIG TIME. I think fan support considering the team we have & our record the past few years is pretty awesome. Great job, Winnipeg. SPuDS 1
