Zontar Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 First up. BC @ MTL. Does Glenn shed or cement his reputation in big games ? Did MTL peak two weeks ago or are they still trending up ? SSK @ EDM. Geritol Follies. Does Joseph make a nice story or does Nicholls muddle through and EDM defense puts Prider nation out of its misery ?
Tracker Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 As much as it pains me to say this, I think Joseph just might beat the Esks and I expect that Glenn will lead the Lions to victory. I have sympathy for Glenn who is a good but not great QB but has had little luck or respect, so I'm kinda pulling for him. Besides, BC overall has the better team. As far as Sask winning, we are going to see if God have has a sense of humour (or irony).
gbill2004 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Sucks that the Bombers aren't playing today.
17to85 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 you know I think I'd be more worried about Rider win today if they had lost the last game against Edmonton. It serves as a good wake up call to the esks that they can't take them lightly. Unless you're the Bombers it's not likely to lose back to back games to the same team. I'd heavily favour BC in the east except for the fact that crossover teams don't often seem to win.
Zontar Posted November 16, 2014 Author Report Posted November 16, 2014 Nothing against Kerry Joseph - supposed to be a quality dude on and off the field - but I hope SSK gets effing humiliated today.
RagingIce Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Edmonton and BC win today I think.
rebusrankin Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Edmonton has been great at home. Hope it continues.
Mr Dee Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Gameday: BC in Montreal - The early game. Usually not a good sign for a Western team, but BC has been practising @ 10am to approximate the eastern time zone. No Courtney Taylor, but Bassie and Bighill are back in the lineup. "Keeping tackle Khalif Mitchell on the roster and in the defensive mix, rotating him with Eric Taylor and Jabar Westerman, represents the best way to cause problems for Als quarterback Jonathan Crompton, maintained Benevides" Ernest Jackson is entering the playoffs as the most productive CFL receiver. No John Beck, so Travis Lulay is the BU, followed by Travis Partridge. If Glenn gets hurt..bye bye BC BC is 3rd in total defence Montreal is 4th in total defence. Montreal - lowest scoring team in the playoffs / only ran the ball 5 times vs the Ti-Cats / Tisdale is back in the lineup/ the 1970's porn star look-a-like is ready behind the centre and I'm still not sure that's a good thing. / If Duron Carter is on his game, it may not matter./ No Sutton today. BC wins if Glenn and his receivers are connected and Logan gives them an option. Montreal wins if they can run the ball…a lot, and can hotly defend against Glenn. Hamilton stunned this team last week. Have they recovered? I like BC with Kevin Glenn Sask. in Edmonton: Think running game. Allen vs White I'm not thrilled at all with the BU QBs in this game, But it's Kerry Joseph and Anthony Allen and their rec vs Matt Nichols and John white and their receivers Both QBs will be rushed by the opposing Ds and KJ should handle it better than MN but it won't be enough Wild card - Cortez, anything up his sleeve weather will be a factor cccold In the CFL this season the team with more rushing yards was 68-13 overall. I like Edmonton with J White. Mark F 1
Jesse Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 I think Glenn and the Lions should be able to get be the Als. That defence certainly has the ability to turn Kevin into his lesser self though. I hope that Edmonton can find a way to get past the Riders. If they can just stay alive long enough for Reilly to get healthy, they definitely have a shot for the Cup.
gbill2004 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 I got Montreal and Edmonton today.
Mark F Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 If do not want Lulay to play. His arm wouldn't last five minutes. Glenn should be able to beat Compton. Compton looks inaccurate, and might get a receiver killed. No idea about Edmonton Saskatchewan, other than Edmonton running back got one hundred and fifty or more yards against Sask a while ago. He was laughing at them. Great game. Here's to a repeat of that. It was a lot of fun to watch. The humiliation of the mighty Sask Defence, specially their Line. I also hope that Kerry Joseph survives the game without getting badly hurt.
gbill2004 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Any chance Benevedes is fired if this embarrassment continues?
gbill2004 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 glenn laying an egg Typical Glenn for a big game.
TBURGESS Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Hate the 15 yard little push penalty after the play and it should have been offensive PI on the TD IMO. I guess the refs hate BC like they hate Wpg. Not the reason BC's losing though. BC's playing badly, led by Glenn's embarrassing bad play. (Note: I'm not one of the Glenn haters)
Fraser Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 glenn laying an eggTypical Glenn for a big game. he's really glenning it today
Tracker Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Any chance Benevedes is fired if this embarrassment continues? Benevides may be fired before the end of the game if this pathetic effort continues. Mark F 1
17to85 Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 when bad Glenn shows up it's a long day for your team no doubt about it.
sweep the leg Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Trestman to BC next year? Seems like both will be in tough to keep their jobs this offseason. Mark F 1
sweep the leg Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Bear Woods is a pending UFA this offseason. Wouldn't he look good in our D? MOBomberFan 1
Tracker Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Wow. This game has gone south in a hurry. Not only has the BC offense been toothless, the defence has completely caved. Reminds of the Bombers in the last half of the season- Crompton has been very good though and I never thought he was anything more than a mediocre backup.
BBlink Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 BC defence not getting the job done and this game snowballed on them
Fatty Liver Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Yah, where are all the Crompton haters? He's getting it done again.
