gbill2004 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 @sportsnag: Rumour around that Jim Barker may be out as GM of #argos That would be a stupid, stupid decision on ownership's part. #ticats #stamps #cfl
Noeller Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 I thought they JUST finished saying that both Barker and Milano are there for at least another year...??

Mark H. Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Just the fact that he pulled off the Ricky Ray trade should keep him there for a decade or so. Al Bundy 1
M.O.A.B. Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 so I guess, Milanovich's stay in Toronto is not set in stone either.
Nolby Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Maybe Milonovich is next? If we can't somehow bring in Cortez to run the offense, id still be very happy brining in Scott.

Our entire organization has been brain dead for 15 years.
B-F-F-C Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 I'd be surprised if Braley is willing to payout Barker's contract and then hire someone else. The only way I see it is if maybe Milanovich takes over the GM duties. The Argos are operating on a shoestring budget and I doubt there's room in it for buyouts.

Well tracker made a comment about the Argos & she's right about Toronto. I just stated the obvious. You saying it's not true, Mike? Who cares if this is about the Argos. In a way, it's also about us & our futility. Especially with the hires we've made over the years, the decisions that came afterwards on general managers, coaches, draft choices, personnel & just today stories that we won't approach George Cortez about being our OC.
SPuDS Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Tracker's a girl? Lmao.. That was the only thing I got from that post too Logan007 1
Tracker Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Well, perhaps he was tuning in to my feminine energy. Logan007 1
Zontar Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Not hiring Barker way back when turned out to be huge.
iso_55 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Well, perhaps he was tuning in to my feminine energy. Sorry, for some reason I thought you were a woman.
Tracker Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Well, perhaps he was tuning in to my feminine energy. Sorry, for some reason I thought you were a woman. No problem. No matter which plumbing i was born with, I am still me and this is far from an insult.

BigBlue Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I thought Barker has done a good job fo the Argos .... huge injuries and no $$$ to bring in replacements
Zontar Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Could be more trouble on the horizon for the East. TOR, MTL, OTT - three potential gong shows.
Mark H. Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Could be more trouble on the horizon for the East. TOR, MTL, OTT - three potential gong shows. Als have a good OL and Defense. A solid running back combined with a few completions from 747 Crompton could get them a .500 record Don't forget - they were in position to eliminate y'all from the playoffs - last game of the season
Mark H. Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Joe mack for toronto GM...! Not a chance - he wouldn't trade for Mike Reilly
M.O.A.B. Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Joe mack for toronto GM...! He can then give Burke another shot at HC. And he will probably trade Ray since he says Ray is too old. And of course, Etienne will have hope in returning
