Mike Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Watching Taylor Reed play in the middle last night for Hamilton. Penalty aside, he's one hell of a linebacker. 62 tackles ... 8 sacks ... a couple forced turnovers ... as a rookie in the middle of the Hamilton defense. Really wish we had a guy like that manning the middle of the field for us. Especially because we did have him last year. And then let him go. blitzmore 1
B-F-F-C Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I was thinking the same thing but he's probably a casualty of the coaching change. I believe he ended the season on the Bombers PR which of course made him a free agent as soon as the season ended. Then came the coaching change and he probably fell between the cracks. But good on the Ticats for picking him up.

(just vaguely remember the name .. wasn't he a late PR addition?)
SPuDS Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Bowman and reed wouldn't look out of place in our LB core... Tho bowman for wild would be a bit of a stretch..
IC Khari Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Funny how the refs catch the penalty in this game but miss it twice in our games against the Riders?
B-F-F-C Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 WBB's signed him to the PR on October 2, 2013 and then he signed with the Cowboys on November 18, 2013. He was subsequently released by the Cowboys on November 26, 2013.
voodoochylde Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I want a thumper at MLB .. a guy in the Elimimian mold .. need to set the tone right down the middle of the field ..
SPuDS Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Well thats bunk! Why da hell he go join the Ticats then if we let him go to pursue nfl opportunities? (As it would seem..). Reed over kuale seems like a no brainer... Grr.
Tracker Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 20-20 hindsight is always perfect, isn't it. Had he been with the Bombers this season and played like that, it probably would would have given us another couple of wins. Maybe even got us into the playoffs.
B-F-F-C Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 And it looks like he was a late addition to the Cats as he was signed on June 24, 2014*. Note: All according to Wikipedia
pigseye Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 No mystery here, look who was in charge and the decisions made over the year with the roster, way too many head scratchers to expect to make sense of anything.
Blueandgold Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 We all know that O'Shea wasn't going to bench Kuale unless he was forced to.
Stickem Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 You can bet a guy like Tilman keeps tabs on players like Reed and cashes in when the time is right. Although viewed as some sort of pariah, Tilman stills knows football and funnels a lot of talent the cats' way. Too bad we didn't follow this guy long enough to bring him back. We missed the boat..again.

I would have thought Eric the Red would have something to do with bringing him in. Guess he wasn't in the know like I thought. Much like us.
coach17 Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 I want a thumper at MLB .. a guy in the Elimimian mold .. need to set the tone right down the middle of the field .. Archambeault would look good in blue M.O.A.B. 1
M.O.A.B. Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Archambeault Hey, you're right. wrong shade of blue ? Mr Dee 1
mbrg Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 20-20 hindsight is always perfect, isn't it. That's why in hindsight world Stoudamire is still with the Riders.
James Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I wonder if we were even interested when Reed came back to the CFL...
M.O.A.B. Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I wonder if we were even interested when Reed came back to the CFL... Walters & co probably were interested but Etch probably declined and said he's not good for his D not like Kuale is. B-F-F-C and James 2
