Mike Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Figured it would be nice to keep all the non-Bomber dealings of the offseason in one centralized thread ... I'm sure there are exceptions for the BIG stories having their own threads as they come up, but for all the daily tweets and information, we could keep it condensed to one thread. One rumor I saw yesterday from Drew Edwards ... WR Greg Ellingson to Ottawa to reunite with Henry Burris - would be a good move for Ottawa blitzmore 1
sweep the leg Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Giguere to Montreal is another Edwards rumour.
Blueandgold Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Ellingson seems to have trouble staying on the field. Then again, Ottawa could use any decent receiver they can get their hands on.
Jpan85 Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 #Bears have signed K Jay Feely and waived/injured WR Chris Williams. So team has insurance if Robbie Gould (quad) cannot kick tomorrow. — Brad Biggs (@BradBiggs) December 3, 2014
SPuDS Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Williams still bears property essentially or is that a release once healthy type thing?
TBieber Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Williams still bears property essentially or is that a release once healthy type thing? Any team can sign him off waivers, if he goes unclaimed, he will be on the Bears IR. SPuDS 1
max power Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I believe he's been off and on the practice roster for them multiple times this year. So I'd expect he goes there or the IR as opposed to be being cut loose completely.
Zontar Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Giguere to Montreal is another Edwards rumour. Also surmized he and his wife like it in HAM. Ellingson would be a good move. Problem is he cant stay out of the tub and may not have a QB to get him the ball. Burris ' status is very much up in the air I would assume.
TBieber Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Shawn Lemon and Brett Jones among those getting heavy NFL interest. Lemon has 12 workouts planned, Scott Mitchell of the CGY Sun says Jones has drawn interest from atleast 9 teams thus far.

Lemon has 12 workouts planned, Scott Mitchell of the CGY Sun says Jones has drawn interest from atleast 9 teams thus far. Should be noted that Mitchell said that Lemon has no interest for other CFL teams other than Calgary
Rids Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Lemon actually said he would only play for Calgary.
DR. CFL Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Well Lemon should stay in Calgary. Not sure what position he thinks he plays in the NFL at his size?
Fred C Dobbs Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 He was here for 3 days in July 2011 and then quit.
Jpan85 Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 The Ottawa football teams is not going to hire a oline coach will do coaching by committee. Little bit of a head scratcher. http://www.ottawasun.com/2014/12/03/ol-coach-by-committee?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
bearpants Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 Hate to see good Canadians leave the CFL.... but best of luck to Jones in his NFL endeavour...
Jpan85 Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 #CFL held its waiver draft today. Small note: #Riders grabbed the rights of #Bombers draft pick Kris Robertson. — Kirk Penton (@PentonKirk) December 20, 2014
gbill2004 Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 @PentonKirk: @garrettbillan1 They reacquired the rights the Shea Pierre and Ezra Millington.
Mr Dee Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Don't you just love how the CFL takes so very good care of their fans… ….I mean, how hard would have been to keep us informed about the waiver draft?
SPuDS Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Kris Robertson.. We put him on waivers? He at Anthony Woodson stage where he simply hasn't proven himself or... ?
Atomic Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Kris Robertson.. We put him on waivers? He at Anthony Woodson stage where he simply hasn't proven himself or... ? He never got a legitimate chance here. I still believe he will be a CFL player.

He never got a legitimate chance here. I still believe he will be a CFL player. Don't know why Robertson didn't fit in to Etch's defense. He's certainly small enough. Floyd 1

Lemon has 12 workouts planned, Scott Mitchell of the CGY Sun says Jones has drawn interest from atleast 9 teams thus far. Jones would be one of the smallest OL in the NFL. I wish the guy good luck as he'll need it. But I can't blame the guy for trying.
iso_55 Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Hamilton is going to a power in the east for a long time, Zontar.
