TBieber Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Who ya got? Committee backed themselves into a corner moving TCU ahead of Florida State this week. Don't think there is a chance they miss the opportunity of Alabama vs FSU though if they beat G-Tech. Baylor beat TCU, and they played virtually the same schedule, but the Big 12 will declare co-champions, hurting Baylor's case. 1. Bama 2. Oregon 3. TCU 4. FSU 5. Ohio State 6. Baylor Warrennip 1
Jpan85 Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 It will remain the same. But I would put OSU in for TCU. That loss to VTech killed OSU. Would of loved to see the chaos if Bama and FSU went down.
Mr. Perfect Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 OSU better get in. I doubt that they will though. TCU should drop. What OSU has done this year considering the QB position is unbelievable. They'd beat TCU easily in my opinion.

Rids Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Vols??? How'd you get to be a Vols fan?
Dr. Blue Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Oddly because of the Power T and my last name starting with T... When I was younger I bought a hat because of the T, and it snowballed from there. I began watching more NCAA football and figured I needed a team to cheer for, so I began following the Vols. It sure has peaked my interest in college football! The Vols finally get back to a bowl game, and did it with a fairly young group. That plus one of the top 2015 recruiting classes, I'm hoping they can compete for the SEC title soon! Atomic 1

Butch Jones is a great coach and that staff is the hardest working recruiters they've had for a while. They pulled 5 or 6 kids out of middle Tennessee alone that should be All-SEC Freshman team members come next year.
Mark F Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Can't wait to see Oregon against Florida State. and….. that was a Great game. score 59 to 20? at one point, I thought it was fixed. pass interference on number 35 in the end zone, he was grabbed, and tackled, referee right there, no call. I'm sure some people think that was a turning point. The next game was exciting, but sure shows the difference between NFL, CFL, and college, even the top level college football. How did Ohio state let them back in the game with a touchdown in about twenty seconds at the end? fun game though

I was so glad to see Herbstreit announce to a big time audience that he thinks people need to drop the 'Oregon is soft' nonsense. Oregon is a tenacious football team and yeah, sometimes they play track meet football, but that defense of theirs is not soft.
Mark F Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 I heard a radio guy discussing you're last paragraph, he said something similar, also mentioned that Ohio State was supposed to be getting beat up, when in fact, without two turnovers, they absolutely killed Alabama which is supposed to be near pro level defence. running back got two hundred and fifty or so yards against them. "Alabama hardly looked like the defensive powerhouse that coach Nick Saban is used to sending out, giving up 537 yards to the Buckeyes. Elliott scored on a 3-yard run with 2:55 left in first half to spark the comeback, and he wound up averaging a staggering 11.5 yards on 20 carries to earn the award as the most outstanding offensive player. "He's probably the most underrated back in the United States," Meyer said."
TBieber Posted January 3, 2015 Author Report Posted January 3, 2015 Can't believe I have to hope Oregon wins a title. What a sad day for America.
iso_55 Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Can't see Ohio beating OSU especially if that third string qb starts & plays.I think Bama was over confident. Now Oregon gets 2 weeks to prepare for the Buckeyes.
Rids Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Both Ohio State and Alabama had 3 turnovers. Ohio State turned one into a Pick 6. Elliott had 2 runs that were at the time the longest play from scrimmage given up by Alabama all year. The difference maker in the game was the big plays. Ohio State made them and Alabama couldn't when they needed them. Ezekiel Elliott had runs of 54 and 85 yards. Devin Smith's 47 yard TD catch and run. Steve Miller 41 yard Pick 6. A receiver throwing a TD pass to finish the first half. The Tyvis Powell INT down at the goalline was a killer for Alabama. Mark F 1

Jpan85 Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 North Dakota State just won its fourth FCS championship in a row with a late game TD drive. This team is really good could compete for conference championships insome the non FBS big conferences. mbrg 1
