Rich Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Looks like the rotation continues and Hutch gets the start tonight. Michael Hutchinson is first goalie off the ice and will start for #NHLJets vs #Bruins — Ken Wiebe (@WiebeSunSports) December 19, 2014
The Unknown Poster Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Im shocked. So...I guess this really means we dont have a starter right now. Interesting. Pavs played very well last game so I figured he was in for sure. I know Hutch played well against Boston but definitely colour me surprised.
New_Earth_Mud Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Wow LOL Ya thats what i said to. Kinda shows what good coaching and a team that buys in can do sometimes.
Mark H. Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 A very impressive win, excellent start to Christmas Break
Atomic Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 How could you possibly put a price tag on the value Byfuglien brings to the Jets? A forward that can drop back and play over 27 minutes as the number one defenceman. Scheifele and Lowry are both really coming into their own. The scoring will come for Lowry but for now he is playing a great 3rd line center role. Scheifele is starting to look dangerous again after a bit of a scoring slump earlier this season. Pardy and Postma had some trouble as the 3rd pairing. Postma got just over 11 minutes. But they get a pass for tonight. Hutchinson just makes the big time saves. I don't know if it's the real deal or if he is just on a lucky/hot streak. He just always seems to be able to get his body in front of everything, even though it's not pretty sometimes. Overall I'm really happy about that win. The team needed this one to maintain their confidence... they're not out of the woods yet.
New_Earth_Mud Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Maurice has this team under control. They go play. Pav up next
The Unknown Poster Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Sign Buff to a lifetime contract.
New_Earth_Mud Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Sign Buff to a lifetime contract. Sure you dont want to trade him? Ha.... Kiddin I agree. Sign him up.

IC Khari Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Buff for Mayor ... too late ... Buff for Premier!
Brandon Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 I was not impressed with the team in the 2nd and the first half of the 3rd period.... lots of sloppy plays that could of been avoided. I am not a fan of Clitsome... that guy has issues getting the puck out of our end.
Floyd Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Buff sure making a case to stay at D... and has real chemistry with Chiarot Really could see Bogo or Enstrom being traded to say Edmonton once they are healthy
BomberFan Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Buff sure making a case to stay at D... and has real chemistry with Chiarot Really could see Bogo or Enstrom being traded to say Edmonton once they are healthy No chance. I think some moves may happen, but not those guys. Bogo for Eberle! lol
Goalie Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Bogo for Eberle? I don't think so. Buff will move back to forward and Halischuk will drop to the 4th or one or both party and clitty on waivers or traded. Pardy Goalie 1
The Unknown Poster Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 If anything chevy might look to bring in help if the jets are still in the hunt at the deadline. I think they are comfortable with their team. Ladd and Buff need new deals next year. But 2016 is the big year with a lot of contracts coming due and a lot of salary being added if all are retained. I'd suspect Bogo or Enstron (probably Bogo) is trade bait then with trouba taking his spot. But if the jets are consistent playoff contenders management might open up more money.
Floyd Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Morrisey will need a spot next year... Chiarot has made his case to stay. I don't think Buff moves back to forward next year - will need space for Petan or Ehlers. I think Bogo gets moved - we'll get the most value and, well, he's hurt all the time anyway... I could see - Trouba-Enstrom, Buff-Chiarot, Stuart-Morrisey next year...
