sweep the leg Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Kane is benched. Wow.Buff in his spot. Love it for this game. Strong message being sent to remove their heads from their asses.

Mike Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Looks like Kane had a date with the Roxy.

Goalie 1
Rich Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Nobody that I can think of that would make me trade Kane.
sweep the leg Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Nobody that I can think of that would make me trade Kane.I'd take Schneider...
Jacquie Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 LOL at the Jet fans by the Canucks penalty box with the Kermit plushie which I'm assuming is their answer to the green men.
RagingIce Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 What happened to the jets over the allstar break? This is painful to watch. 10 shots after 35 minutes...
FrostyWinnipeg Posted February 4, 2015 Author Report Posted February 4, 2015 Nobody that I can think of that would make me trade Kane.I'd take Schneider... Moose goalie? Um no.
Jacquie Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 @garylawless: Lots are asking if Evander Kane has been traded and that's why he's been held out of lineup - my intel says that's not the case. Discipline.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted February 4, 2015 Author Report Posted February 4, 2015 5 losses down, 2 more to go.
RagingIce Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 3 more to match the Bombers! FrostyWinnipeg 1
Goalie Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Kane was benched for off ice issues. A point Is a point tho
The Unknown Poster Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Good to see Kane has matured.
Brandon Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 Crappy to see the team lose yet again..... At least a few guys are legit trying... Lowry is starting to shine and looking like a better pick then Scheifele .... Mark seems to have disappeared and is terrified to take the shot a la Enstrom. Sucks that Pavs let in the last two soft goals... he had a very solid opening 30 minutes. The team simply seems to be skating with cement skates and it's nearly impossible for them to even run a cycle at all during the game even during power plays.....
The Unknown Poster Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 I wouldnt worry about Scheif. Young player in his second season. He has flashes of brilliance. Perhaps he should move to 3C for awhile with Lowry on his wing.
Goalie Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 the second goal on pav was soft but the last one was a 2 on 1 pretty much, not sure how somebody could say that last goal was soft when 9 out of 10 goalies wouldn't have stopped it either. Hutch let in a few soft ones vs the flames and didn't see any comments there. Pav was the reason the team got one point and almost the reason they got 2. Say what you want but... penalties are killing this time, didn't Vancouver score on the powerplay? at one point, vancouver had more shots on the powerplay than the jets did in the entire game. Blaming PAV? crazy really.. guy played very well. That second goal was a bit weak but... announcers seemed to think it deflected off chiarots stick in front of him... the last goal tho? 2 on 1 in OT and it's a weak one? Can blame Buff for that one more than PAV as buff pinched up on the play and got caught and fell down.
The Unknown Poster Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 The reason there is more consternation about Pavs over Hutch is very simple. They are apples and oranges. Hutch is a young goalie in his rookie season. Usually someone in his position wouldnt even be getting the starts he is let alone be talked about as a potential starter. He's going to make mistakes, have bad games etc on the road of his development. Pavs has a body of work. I *was* the biggest Pavs supporter and I still am to a degree. But you know what get with him. Ofcourse we *want* Hutch to out play Pavs. If he doesnt, it means we still dont have a bonafide starter that is in the upper half of the league stats-wise. Pavs is what he is. We dont know what Hutch is yet.
Goalie Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 The irony in all this, this losing streak, is the teams behind them or in front of them even... not playing that much better the last 10 games.. Crazy but... last 10 games Jets have 11 points Flames have 14 Avs have 13 Stars have 11 Canucks have 10 Blackhawks have 8 So really, nothing much gained or lost really when you think about it the last 10 games. SPuDS Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 Well, at least we all took nap time together.. It's like kindergarten! FrostyWinnipeg 1

And what are the numbers for the last 5? I don't see anyone complaining about the pre-break play. So what have these same teams don't post-break?
Atomic Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 Since the break: Calgary (4-1-0) 8 ptsLA (1-2-0) 2 ptsVancouver (2-2-0) 4 ptsDallas (2-1-1) 5 ptsMinnesota (4-0-0) 8 ptsColorado (2-0-1) 5 ptsWinnipeg (0-4-1) 1 pts FrostyWinnipeg 1
