gbill2004 Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 Morley is probably getting paid pretty nicely, he is a vet and a canadian and a starter for this team the last few years, My bet is he's being paid quite well so i'd suspect he either retires or is traded. If i had to guess, i'd lean towards retirement I'd estimate he's getting at least $120k per season.
Goalie Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Since contract numbers are never released to the public, I don't know how that could be a realistic guess. If January was 120 or so, Morley due to be Canadian would probably be more.

I heard Morley took a bit of a hometown discount because his family is settled here and he didn't want to play anywhere else. Bryant got $160k and the reports were that was "slightly" more than January, so who really knows what "slightly" more is.
iso_55 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Morley played well for us last year at center. I think we owe him thanks for that. He found his position after a decade in the CFL. Who knew?
Floyd Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 in 2009 our every play just consisted of Lefors running for his life - I'll pass on Morley as tackle Don't see a ton of difference between Neufeld and Morley at rg though
iso_55 Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Everybody says Neufeld is this great OL. Well, he has to get on the field first. Remains to be seen if he can & for how long. Greatness doesn't matter if he can't play.
Mr Dee Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Neufeld is this great OL. There…I've said it now too. Everybody, plus one.
Floyd Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Said there's not much difference between him and Morley - both are journeyman RG Neufeld played better at OT in sask James 1
gbill2004 Posted February 14, 2015 Author Report Posted February 14, 2015 There was a thread on the Riders fan forum where they were talking about the loss of Ben Heenan and several Rider fans wanted to trade back for Neufeld.
Floyd Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Alex hall for Neufeld - get it done Walters

One Rider fan and they got torn to shreds by the bulk of the posters. It was definitely more than one.
Atomic Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 in 2009 our every play just consisted of Lefors running for his life - I'll pass on Morley as tackle Ya LeFors only played in 3.5 games in 2009 and Bishop couldn't run. Good try though.
sweep the leg Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 We ran a 1990 style offense that season and used a fb most of the time. That helped keep the sack numbers down. I think Morley's best season as a Bomber was last year. Bigblue204 1
Shanks Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 Morley gets cut, then he and his buddy January retire together. And January gets a month of the year named after him.
