Rich Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Saw this tweet from the official Eskimos Twitter account We'll just leave this right here @TorontoArgos pic.twitter.com/6FzDKpbERy — Edmonton Eskimos (@EdmontonEsks) February 17, 2015 I've asked similar questions before, but I'm always curious about people's thoughts on this. Is it wrong for an official account to tweet out something like this, or is it all in good fun and just adding to rivalries and future games?
Blueandgold Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 As long as they don't take shots that are bad for business - things like the Argos attendance issues - it's not even an issue worthy of discussion in my mind. northof60 1
Atomic Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 It's funny. It's how social media should be used by teams. voodoochylde and northof60 2
Noeller Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 The internet is supposed to be hardcore....I don't like censorship on the tubes.
JohnnyOnTheSpot Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 My opinion: A football club is a business and should conduct themselves accordingly. Fans can say what they want.
Goalie Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 It's Twitter. Who cares. It's all in good fun and quite honestly, i have enjoyed some of the tweets that pro sports teams send out to each other. All in good fun. Only people who are offended or don't like this type of stuff are people who are way too sensitive. Man, not knocking the topic cuz i like it, it's a neat discussion but... what's the world come to when topics like this exist. What's happened to peoples sense of humor. Man, guys like George Carlin and The legends of comedy would just be crapped on these days. It's pathetic actually when you think about how sensitive the world has gotten.
holoman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 The cfl Twitter account encourages this. It's all in good fun. As long as it's funny, I don't mind
Logan007 Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 I don't read twitter other then the news feed on the side of this board, so to me, I could care less as it doesn't affect me either way.
17to85 Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 If it's funny then go nuts. If it's not funny and trying too hard then don't bother.
Noeller Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 If it's funny then go nuts. If it's not funny and trying too hard then don't bother. Yes, absolutely this....a good point, actually. It's only good if it's funny. If it's lame, no thanks.

Yes, absolutely this....a good point, actually. It's only good if it's funny. If it's lame, no thanks. Oh I don't know. Seth Rogan and Norm MacDonald seem to have made careers out of it.
