Taynted_Fayth Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 And the roster keeps getting thinner. Surprised awesome kong didnt go back to WWE, I wouldnt think getting preggo would burn bridges or anything, I guess if she was a FA after she was able to go again, TNA must of offered her better
Atomic Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 Those suplexes from Brock do not look safe to me Taynted_Fayth 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 I thought the same thing 2 weeks ago when he cleared the ring and ended up f5'ing a beat up reigns. His suplexes looked really stiff
Taynted_Fayth Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 or some serious reduction. seems like Lesnar gets busted open a fair bit (usually his mouth) wonder if thats more to do with him not taking the hit correctly or the other wrestler going too heavy
The Unknown Poster Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 Suplexes shouldn't be unsafe. A rumble is a difficult place though to do them as there is a lot going on. I don't recall anyone else ever being injured from a Brock suplex. And it's usually his own head that gets busted open. There has been debated about whether he is reckless, purposely banging his head to get blood or if he is blading against complany policy. Awesome Kong didn't just get pregnant. She has some issues. She pretended to be pregnant after losing the baby. Also I think it was Dawn Marie who also got pregnant to WWE's annoyance. They don't look favourably on getting knocked up during a program. It was Austin who pushed hard for Kong to be hired. Wwe never wanted her.
The Unknown Poster Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Bret Hart announces he has prostate cancer: It is with great remorse that I feel compelled to speak truthfully to my friends, family and my millions of fans around the world. In the past few years, I've spent more than enough time paying the price for all those years trying to be the best there ever was as a professional wrestler. I executed excellently and my proudest claim was that I never seriously hurt or injured another wrestler in my 23 year career. I've paid a price for all that "fake" wrestling. Aside from a devastating career-ending concussion and numerous surgeries when I was younger, in recent years I've had two knee replacements, two hernia operations, surgery on my right elbow, and, just a few months ago, I underwent a four-corner fusion of my right wrist that even now makes it most difficult to write or type. Mark Helprin wrote: "We are all perfect clocks that Divinity has set to ticking when, even before birth, the heart explodes into a lifelong dance." I've had a great lifelong dance and I'm a survivor of many hard battles. I now face my toughest battle. With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer. In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all. My fans have always looked upon me as a hero and I've always done my best to live up to that in and out of the ring. I beat the odds when I suffered my stroke in 2002, but it is now yet again, that I draw upon the many adults and young children I've met throughout my life who courageously fought and usually lost in their battles against this deadly disease. One year ago, I watched a brave young man named Whesley fight brain cancer to the end. If I can find even an ounce of his courage to stand unafraid and face the tough road ahead of me, I will march toward this destiny with his spirit chanting in my ear. I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that's kept me going this long already. Love is my weapon and I've got much of it around me all the time, for which I'm truly blessed and eternally grateful. My children, grandchildren, and my loving wife Steph have been and will constantly be at my side. I refuse to lose, I will never give in or give up, and I will win this battle or die trying. Most important of all, I hope I can take the fight to prostate cancer. To be a leader in awareness and to set the example for men everywhere who find themselves in my very same shoes, that prostate cancer can be beaten. B x
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 i wish him all the best, the hitman is an all time fav wrestler of mine. last half dozen girls Ive met recently all had random pics with him though, i dunno whats up with that but lol all the same. one of my childhood regrets is never getting a pair of his shades. id have rocked those so hard to school with my ultimate warrior back pack. most of my other regrets are bands I can no longer see like Nirvana, but thats a whole other topic
iso_55 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Best of luck to the Hitman Brett Hart. The last 20 years haven't been good to him having to overcome the affects of the concussion he received thanks to Bill Goldberg, having to overcome a stroke he suffered & now Prostate cancer. I wish the man all the best after his surgery & hopefully good health afterwards for years to come.
The Unknown Poster Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Also Sunny and Vivid announced a deal for a porn called Sunny Side up. Am I allowed to link to the trailer? Taynted_Fayth 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 wait wait, is this hot sunny or Kristie Alley right after Cheers, Sunny?

Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 ill be honest, i will absolutely watch this for the sake of saying Ive seen this lol. I once bought the playboy issue with Chyna in it not cuz i thought she was hot but it makes for great conversation pieces when celebrities, or at least people were familiar with do such things. Not to ridicule or anything but yeah. I used to have a wicked rager for sunny when she first debuted in the WWF (with Skip?) If they really wanted to make a splash with this movie, they should back up the money truck to vanna whites house lol jk The Unknown Poster 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Sunny vs vanna white in a perm'd out KY jelly match The Unknown Poster 1
The Unknown Poster Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Chyna's Playboy issue was great. She looked good. If I had to pick my favorite, it would be Maria Kanellis. Although I met Christy Hemme and she was gorgeous in person. Met Sunny too and she was very nice.
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 probably is, I know a few chicks who've been in porn like legit porn not homemade lol I thought itd be an elephant in the room at first after i found out they'd been in movies and even had their own site..ect but porns just sex, not like its showin off her ankle or anything. Of all the divas, when i watched those old rumbles the other day, we watched a quick top 10 female fatales clip, I absolutely forget just how smoking hot Stacy Keebler was. then I started hating George Clooney a little more
The Unknown Poster Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Back in about 1995 I worked at Grapes on Main. One night, huge line up, these two gorgeous, really done up girls come up to me and start hitting on me to get into the bar. They said they were from out of town and just passing through Winnipeg, were here for some photoshoot or something. Yeah sure, I though. The one girl said no really, we're models. For who, I ask? Penthouse. Yeah right. But it was a good hustle and they were beautiful so I let them in. Had a couple of drinks with the one girl and danced with her at the end of the night. I asked her what her stage name was and she told me Emerald Heart (or Dawn, cant remember). Anyway, I think nothing of it until sometime later when Triple H is doing the gimmick where he has a different girl on his arm every week and I suddenly notice the girl looks really familiar while the announcer refers to her as "Emerald Heart". There's my wrestling/porn connection...years before I was in the business. Here's a "local wrestling dirty trick" story. The history of wrestling is replete with dirty tricks at all levels (WCW ran a TV special opposite WrestleMania, WWE countered by creating Survivor Series to run opposite Starrcade and made PPV distributors promise not to carry WCW etc). Back in 2002, one of our competitors announced they were bringing in Sunny and her then-boyfriend Chris Candito. Welllll...this was a great idea! So my partner decided we had to do something to stop this. The show was to be held at a community centre and promoted as "family friendly". Sunny had been on the WrestlingVixxxens website so the decision was made to tip off local media and community groups that the promotion was bringing a known pornstar to a family show. We had a few connections with local media having just held a pretty big event ourselves. But as our then-President implored, "dont get caught". So our President had his office manager write up an anonymous "concerned citizen letter" and fax it to several media outlets. No one bit. Not one to let the natural course of action happen, my partner called our contact at the WPG Sun just to "say hi". Well the reporter smelled it a mile away and said "did you have anything to do with this". My partner said ofcourse not, but its a terrible thing, bringing this porn star here. The reporter said why, who cares? And that was pretty much the end of that. A side note is, Sunny and Chris no-showed the show. They claimed some excuse and promised to be there if the promoter re-booked them, which he did. My partner was talking to a fellow promoter we did business with in the US and when he mentioned this show, the other promoter said "if you want them to no-show I can have them booked down here that weekend. They will for sure blow off a weekend in Canada". Low and behold, they no show AGAIN. The promoter never tried booking them again. He turned to Davey Boy Smith. Another great idea. Davey brought his son Harry (who must have been 16 at the time). The plan was for Davey and Harry to work regular for this promoter. Unfortunately, they took Davey out and got him sauced on you-name-it and a couple of days later he was dead (not that Im making a link between the two....). Ah yes, local dirty tricks. So many.... Sorry for the long post. i could tell stories all day.
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Hunter with a woman on his arm, thats not more built then him (chyna) would that be the pre-acronymned Hunter Hearst Helmsley? What a brutal gimmick, in hindsight I totally forgot his name HHH pays homage to that gimmick after all these years including the "pedigree" name as he was supposed to be basically a blonde Damien Sandow (before the miz thing). everything about that character, the curtsy, the old victorian theme music... ugh youd think they woulda buried that deep in the cellar and reinvented him just before he moved up from an IC guy to a jacked up heavy weight
iso_55 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Paul Levesque played a rich snob as a wrestler in the 90's. Now he is a real rich snob who controls the destiny of every wrestler on the NXT & WWE roster.

It led to him being accompanied by Sable and leading to an angle with Sable's husband Mark Mero. He did the same basic gimmick in WCW and was going to be a pushed tag team with Regal before going to WWE. It was a good gimmick in that it played well to WWE's audience (being a Stamford based company). Hunter always had "it" and would have been successful but he owes a lot of his superstardom to being associated with Austin and Rock and having Mick putting him over. Oh yeah dating the bosses daughter didn't hurt either.
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Id probably do steph mcmahon but I dont know if id hang out with after. I dunno if its her on air persona or the fact she reminds me of several chicks I know who are always 1 drink away from a drama filled night killer melt down. *shrugs* lol I think on raw tonight imma do a stewie impression makin a " id do her, n her, n her" list The Unknown Poster 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 that felt like a weird episode. like everyone was awkward on the mic, hell even Garcia said the Usos were grammy winners. but right off the get go with Jericho seemed like there was no pop, new day got little crowd reaction. Stephs promo with reigns and ambrose was a snooze fest. Never thought id see the day where I'd say the Miz was their best guy on tonight. It was actually Paul Heyman that was the best but the guys always gold so it's to be expected
iso_55 Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Jericho is getting no pop anywhere it seems. The fans don't seem to care. Heel turn?
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) Ive always prefered Jericho as a heel, hes got a mouth on him and doesn't necessarily have the size but can pass off as being a legitimate threat with his head and agility... or used to anyways, havent seen to much other then the AJ styles match last week which I thought was kinda slow, but i guess both of them were kinda in readjust mode, AJ being new and CJ not really having wrestled in some time n looks a little out of shape - i dont count the RR as a wrestling match btw. But i think there's just a general disconnect/disinterest with Jericho. He's running the same schtick from 10+ years ago, and for the young fans they probably have no clue who he is because he's been touring with Fozzy. most kids are probably like whose this loud mouth all full of himself with rooster hair. he lost at the RR, got beat by AJ styles right after. not exactly lighting the world on fire for them probably. At least back in the Y2J hayday, most of us were already aware and a fan of his work outside the WWE like in WCW or elsewhere (i think he was in Japan at some point?). it was easy for him to ride that love from the crowd. it's almost like AJ styles is what Y2J was during the attitude era minus the mic Edited February 2, 2016 by Taynted_Fayth
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 if Jericho can shake off the rust, i could see him tagging with AJ for a bit until his inevitable turn and start up a feud that could run a while. Im sure the more they work together the better their matches will get. this is why i said I'd have loved to see these 2 wrestle 15 years ago
