Goalie Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Henrik has struggled since being back and the last time these 2 teams played each other. Jets won 1-0 and that goal was scored in the shootout. Pav shut them out and stood on his head
Goalie Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 They say 97 points should get you in. 6 games to get 7 points. Not must win but would be nice
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 Jets get healthier...go on losing streak. The unexplained.
Mr. Perfect Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Second game in a row on home ice late in the third the Jets throw away points. Deserving playoffs team don't do that. Simple as that whether anyone likes it or not. Goalie 1
Goalie Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Bad buff tonight that's for sure. Not a good game by 33
Goalie Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Not even close to being just about it. Will come down to last game of season probably
The Unknown Poster Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 If it does then it's these games they needed to win that will come back to haunt them. They should not be waiting for last game. I'm as hopeful as the next person but they are pissing away their opportunities.
Mr. Perfect Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Yeah its certainly not it, but with being off until Saturday and with the Kings and Flames playing better hockey than the Jets currently those lost points from tonight and Sunday could hurt. Even if they were two overtime losses that would be alright. Good teams don't let road teams steal points on home ice in back to back games with their season on the bubble.
The Unknown Poster Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Good teams win these games and maintain control of their own destiny. They are proving they aren't over the hump as a good team yet. Maybe we need to bench our top two forwards and top two d-men. They played better when they were missing.
Mr. Perfect Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 I wouldn't call it bemoaning, it's just keeping things in perspective and being honest. It's not over but the Jets haven't done themselves any favours the past two home games. Good news for them is that they have games against Calgary and Vancouver at home down the stretch, but they've really given themselves very little room for error based on what's happened.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 With Vanc winning again I'm almost ready to make it a 3 horse race with Cal and L.A.
Goalie Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 They can still win out and get 100 points and they did outplay the Rangers big time
SPuDS Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Bah. They just want the role of heart attack kidz
