Mr. Perfect Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I thought I heard Beyak say Tarasenko and Steen were out for tomorrow. If that's in fact the case that's huge for us.

The Unknown Poster Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 @garylawless: from @WFPEdTait gamer, Maurice on starter against Blues: “I got my goalie. I’ve got our guy. He played a hell of a game tonight.”
johnzo Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 We're within striking distance of Minne -- and they have a tougher schedule than we do, playing all three Central Division leaders. Ducky 1
The Unknown Poster Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Great point. I am shocked we have a chance to catch the Wild.
Ducky Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Wow, a win sure lightens things up in here.........I would rather have Chiarot on the ice than Harrison, Pardy or Stuart. If I'm Maurice, Pardy and Harrison sit if Enstrom and Buff are back. Mark F and Mr. Perfect 2
Mr. Perfect Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Wow, a win sure lightens things up in here......... That and when the people contributing actually understand the game they are talking about for the most part, that helps as well... Noeller and Ducky 2
Ducky Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I dunno, Pavs looked out of place on the 2nd goal tonight.....wait, he had a shutout!!!!!!!!

Ducky Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I'd put Buff and Chiarot and Myers and Stuart and Enstrom and Trouba together.
Mr. Perfect Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 I dunno, Pavs looked out of place on the 2nd goal tonight.....wait, he had a shutout!!!!!!!! Oh the genius was still going on about him "being out of position" tonight - Conveniently ignoring our defensive zone play over the last 40 minutes as per usual.
Ducky Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Wow, for a below average goalie being out of position all the time, he sure made some big time saves.
johnzo Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Could easily catch the wild and pass them. They're cooling off. They're winless in their last three games.
The Unknown Poster Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 The school of thought is that if you see a goalie making spectacular saves routinely it's probably because he is out of position. A goalie with solid positioning and sound mechanics doesnt have to make spectacular saves. That has actually been a knock on Pavs over the years, whereas Hutch was considered better mechanically and positionally. Just sayin...
New_Earth_Mud Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 To be fair and lets not forget their is another team on the ice that has an offence that sometimes will take our defenders out of position and that sometimes will make our tender maybe move himself out of position to cut down an angle. Few brain farts... for sure but over all it was a good game and we got what we needed.
Goalie Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Pav looked good yesterday and most of his "spectacular" saves were because he was in good position. We won and can and have beat every team in the league now. Not sure what this over analysis does really other than prove that the jets could win the cup and there might very well be people saying yeah we won but .... Honestly we won. That's all that matters. Reading some posts, if I didn't know we won I'd say we got slaughtered like 6-0 here. We played well. Yup it wasn't perfect but who cares really. First team to beat the wild by more than 1 goal since Jan 19th. That's 34 games. The jets are a very good team too. People are over analysing things way too much. This team is good and I'd hate to play them in the first round of playoffs. Mark F 1
Ducky Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 We haven't beaten every team in the league...Flames for example.
