Taynted_Fayth Posted November 5, 2015 Author Report Posted November 5, 2015 was the last witch hunter that bad? dad said hes seen worse... tho it sounded like that was as good of a compliment as he could give
bigg jay Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 It was pretty bad and ticket sales reflect that. They clearly set up for sequels but if they actually get made, they will not be released in theaters.
17to85 Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 So I've read pretty much nothing but bad reviews for Spectre so far. Gonna try and check it out this weekend and see for myself, but I'm setting the bar low, based on what I've read. As I said before, they loved Skyfall which was pretty crappy all in all so perhaps reviewers just don't know what they're talking about? I dunno see how it is I suppose.
The Unknown Poster Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 I agree about sky fall. Thought it was mediocre. Not sure why all the love. Casino Royale was way better.
Noeller Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 Casino Royale was the best and I enjoyed Skyfall just fine until they went full Home Alone in the final act.
Mr Dee Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 It's Bond. James Bond. There are no bad Bond movies. voodoochylde 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted November 6, 2015 Author Report Posted November 6, 2015 I like most bond movies but those timothy dalton ones were kinda hard to watch
Fraser Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 Terrorism has won Maybe domestic terrorism
Logan007 Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 It's Bond. James Bond. There are no bad Bond movies. You are incorrect good sir.
Mr Dee Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 I'm stirred by your remark...but not shaken. Logan007 1
17to85 Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 It's Bond. James Bond. There are no bad Bond movies. The last one Pierce Brosnan did was a steaming pile of crap, I'm sure if I cared to go remember some of the Roger Moore ones I'd add to the list pretty quickly.
Fraser Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 Shaken martinis are actually really watered down Also real martinis are also gin.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 It's Bond. James Bond. There are no bad Bond movies. Every Bond has his bad film. I like most bond movies but those timothy dalton ones were kinda hard to watch 2nd one is kinda fun to watch. Wayne Newton is hilarious. It's Bond. James Bond. There are no bad Bond movies. The last one Pierce Brosnan did was a steaming pile of crap, I'm sure if I cared to go remember some of the Roger Moore ones I'd add to the list pretty quickly. I rather enjoyed that one as it had a mega-villian. Lot of people thrown off by the invisible car tho.
Mr Dee Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 And yet, everybody will go see Spectre.. Hee hee
kelownabomberfan Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 And yet, everybody will go see Sceptre.. Hee hee - is that the one where James Bond has dyslexia? Noeller and Mr Dee 2

Taynted_Fayth Posted November 6, 2015 Author Report Posted November 6, 2015 ok had to watch the last witch hunter, 1 thumbs down and a pinched nose is my grade
Logan007 Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 I won't watch Spectre until it's out on video. And I didn't like the Timothy Dalton movies, nor did I like any of Daniel Craig's movies. I find him to be one of the worst Bonds. Or maybe it's just the way they're doing the films now.
Taynted_Fayth Posted November 7, 2015 Author Report Posted November 7, 2015 I dont mind craig as bond, but ever since they had Brosnan, it feels like they tried to make the stories too complex and sophisticated instead of just a fun ride. maybe too much realism and better visual effects for more action pack scenes is a contributing factor
Noeller Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Saw Spectre tonight. Was okay. Not the worst Bond in 30 years by any means, tho for me, certainly not close to Royale.
tacklewasher Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Saw Spectre tonight. Was okay. Not the worst Bond in 30 years by any means, tho for me, certainly not close to Royale. I'll wait for it on TV. Say that about pretty much anything out right now.

I find him to be one of the worst Bonds. Or maybe it's just the way they're doing the films now. Casino Royale was awesome, the other two were meh. I really didn't like Skyfall and Quantum of Solace you could tell was made during the hollywood writers strike. It is watchable but not nearly as good as Casino Royale was. I think Craig is a good Bond but other than Casino (haven't seen Spectre yet) he's been let down by the films themselves
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Loved Casino and Skyfall. Quantum should only be watched right after Casino.
iso_55 Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Sean Connery was the best Bond. Then they got that ass clown Roger Moore to take his place & he played Bond the way Adam West played Batman, with a continuos smirk on his face for years. Moore was worse than Timothy Dalton.
Noeller Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 http://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/james-bond-movies/ Something to help the discussion. Bond movies ranked according to Rotten Tomatoes score. Mr Dee 1
