They realised the movies made a lot of money but were critically panned so they assembled a team of creative people and planned out an entire Transformers franchise. So hopefully these films are more enjoyable moving forward
The Unknown Poster Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 Adam West & Burt Ward return as Batman & Robin. Could be fun. Sequel has Wiliam Shatner as Two-Face. http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/01/entertainment/batman-animated-movie-return-of-the-caped-crusaders/index.html

Noeller Posted November 4, 2016 Report Posted November 4, 2016 DS looks a little too nerdy sci fi for me but I'll likely see it just to stay in the MCU loop. Bastards at Marvel have me locked in... Logan007 1

Logan007 Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 Saw Dr Strange. Great movie. Really enjoyed the special effects on the IMAX 3D screen. Totally worth seeing it on that screen. wbbfan 1
The Unknown Poster Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 I saw Dr Strange last night. I was not a "Strange" fan at all but heard good things. It was very good. Much better than I would have thought with that source material. wbbfan 1
johnzo Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Dr. Strange -- starts slow with some boring origin story stuff that all the nerds know (I guess everyone else needs it, so whatever) but gets better and better as it goes on and saves its best for last. Loved the effects, they justified paying the extra $$ for 3D, and not many films do that nowadays. wbbfan and tacklewasher 2
wbbfan Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Watched dr.strange today and dang its really good. Not as good as GOTG or winter soldier but among the best of the 2nd tier imop. Not a fan of 3d, various levels of HD 4k and blue ray dont do much for me but this is def one to see in theaters and if available 3d.

Once that is done it got pretty good. Definite one for the theatre.
Taynted_Fayth Posted November 9, 2016 Author Report Posted November 9, 2016 Just saw Doctor Strange in 3D, a bit of an assault on the senses lol. Over all pretty good, decent pace to the movie. Only things I didnt care for was the way they made Dormammu and what they did with Baron Mordo (Mordo). Other then the cut scene after the credits I fully expect there to be a Doctor Strange 2 where they will get more indepth with Mordo, he is after all Strange's arch rival and I believe he has other ties to evil entities such as the Mandarin (Iron Man) and Mephisto (Ghost Rider)
Taynted_Fayth Posted November 11, 2016 Author Report Posted November 11, 2016 looks like it could be a good special effects movie to see in 3D Mark F 1

Taynted_Fayth Posted November 11, 2016 Author Report Posted November 11, 2016 this get out movies messed up
Noeller Posted November 12, 2016 Report Posted November 12, 2016 That Nic Cage/Russel Brand thing looks kinda funny...might be interesting. The John Wick thing is going to be great. The first one was a total surprise, just how good it was...really looking forward to the second one.
The Unknown Poster Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Saw the trailer for The Great Wall before Dr Strange and the reaction in my theater was pretty consistent - a film about China in medieval times staring...Matt Damon??? Brandon 1

It's weird seeing movies these days geared to the audience in China... Maybe they are trying to do something similar to The Last Samurai?

They might be barking up the wrong tree because there is a lot of backlash to a white actor playing the lead in a film with that setting.
