Mark F Posted March 15, 2021 Report Posted March 15, 2021 (edited) indie sci fi movies very good the endless netflix.... unsettling "If you have a good idea, a strong cast, a smart script, and directorial chops, you don't need a lot of money to make a compelling movie. "The Endless" is proof. Overseen by the filmmaking team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead—who specialize in brainy meta-horror, and who star as brothers who decide to revisit the UFO cult where they grew up—this is a movie that plays with our perceptions of time, space, and reality, and sketches the outlines of unimaginable terror while leaving the details to our imagination. " monsters free on youtube Monsters is a 2010 British science-fiction horror film written and directed by Gareth Edwards in his feature-film directorial debut. Edwards also served as the cinematographer, production designer, and visual effects artist. Monsters takes place years after a NASA probe crashed in Mexico, which led to the sudden appearance of giant tentacled monsters. It follows Andrew Kaulder (Scoot McNairy), an American photojournalist tasked with escorting his employer's daughter Samantha Wynden (Whitney Able) back to the United States by crossing through Mexico's "Infected Zone" where the creatures reside. the signal .... remarkable movie also unsettling http://www.tmrzoo.com/2014/61850/movie-review-signal-highly-recommended "spectral" on netflix..... not indie but very good. bigg jay Posted March 19, 2021 Report Posted March 19, 2021 Zach Snyder's Justice League is out on Crave. It's a whopping 4 hours long but I powered through it this afternoon. Without going into details, I enjoyed it more than the original but was still a bit disappointed.
Noeller Posted March 19, 2021 Report Posted March 19, 2021 it's DC, so it's going to be a mostly boring bag of farts.....I maintain they haven't really done anything of value since the Dark Knight trilogy.... Tracker and bigg jay 2

I started it two nights ago, saw four hours and assumed that included a documentary. I'm an hour in, so far. I'm not sure what the reward is for making it through a longer version of a painfully brooding movie but I will find out.
